We stayed at the Union Club for 5 nights. The bedroom was great, spotlessly clean and breakfasts were plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the charm of the place and in particular drinking tea while reading papers and magazines in the large reading room. My husband also found this was a great place to catch up on a little work while we...

Only if you wish to take advantage of the common areas, such as the library. We had the breakfast included, it is a...

The Union Club is a unique place to stay. It is an old private club with a building dating to 1913. It has that old club ambiance with paneled walls in the library and dining rooms. Guest rooms and baths have been updated and are spotlessly clear. It is in a great location close to the inner harbor (2 blocks)...

This hotel is fantastic! It is a Victorian heritage building and is so grand and elegant! The lady on the desk next to reception, I think her name was Amanda Grant, was so lovely and extremely helpful. She helped me with my bags to my room and gave me a little tour of the rooftop garden terrace and the fitness...

We stayed at the Union Club for two nights. We're reciprocal club members, so we booked through the Tokyo American Club. In spite of being a gentlemen's club, the overall atmosphere was not stuffy or exclusive. The rooms do not have air con, but the temperature drops at night, so this was not a problem. We enjoyed the complimentary tea...

My (female)Friend and I had a lovely time at the Union Club. We thought it might be fun to have a gentleman's club sort of Peter Wimsey sort of stay. It was very enjoyable, gracious. We splurged for a suite and it was totally worth it-sitting room with fridge, real furniture, not hotel clones. Delicious breakfast included. We snooped around...

We spent two nights at the UC after 5 nights in Vancouver. UC was outstanding. Food was very good, breakfast was a killer, and the staff and furnishings were top rate. We will return and we recommend to all of our friends a visit to the UC. Don't miss it.

This place is in a great location with easy access to the waterfront and many locations in Victoria. It is first and foremost a club, and if you can deal with the dress code and a few oddities, it's a very nice place to stay. Breakfast was superb and the bartenders in the main bar were awesome, telling stories, making...
