Rooms are spacious and comfortable...the highlights are the very comfy beds! The location is perfect for walking to all downtown sites, shopping, restaurants and Beacon Hill Park. The in-house view restaurant, Vista 18, just keeps getting better. Sadly, Clive's Classic Lounge is not the destination it once was....less selection in cocktails, slower bar service and odd rules about food!

The renovations on the 16th floor are spectacular! I have no doubt it will be extremely attractive and successful to the Corporate market and couples/ families, specifically with the US currency at such an advantage. I consider The Chateau Victoria the most convenient and beautiful property in YYJ. Staff and service are friendly and commendable.

The hotel is conveniently located. It is a bit outdated in decor, but the rooms are spacious. However, the central ventilation system is so loud that it kept me awake! Likewise as in many north american hotels the ice machine too has sounds that travel far! Even though the ice machine was enclosed and in fact there was also a...

So if your heading to Victoria this is the place to stay....the rooms are great and beds comfortable. It's within walking distance to the downtown core with all the shopping experience you'll need. The hotel has a great staff and keep the hotel in tip top shape. You can't go wrong with this choice.

The location is great. Quiet for sleep purposes but central and walking distance to many interesting sites and good restaurants. Staff are efficient and friendly. Rooms are big, clean and it has great wifi. Breakfasts can be taken on the top floor, view and scrumptious food. Pool and hot tub. This hotel has it all! We have stayed 8 times...

I had the fastest check-in and check-out experience, even though there were only 2 people manning front desk. Rooms were well-equipped and clean, I liked having an iron and ironing board as well as a kettle and a coffee maker. The coffee in my room had a sweeter than normal taste and I found it too weak for my liking,...

My suite was large with room to have people in we were able to gather in my room, had a nice balcony & a window in the bedroom as well. It was a very central location across from the conference centre and walking distance to the sites of Victoria.

Hotel is kept clean and well staffed, I had a problem with room location to the ice machine and they immediately gave me a suite on the top floor without much convincing, no extra charge. Great service.

Stayed for 3 nights during Christmas break, staff was courteous and knowledgeable of the surrounding activities and sites. Room was nothing special, but it was clean and quiet. About 1.5 blocks to the hustle and bustle of the main street with all the shops and restaurants. If we visit Victoria again, we would certainly consider staying at this property again.

Discover Victoria at its finest through an authentic local experience in the heart of downtown, steps from the Inner Harbour. With deeply entrenched roots in the local community and a strong sense of environmental responsibility, we strive to share all that makes Victoria special with each and every guest. Our owner, Mr. Clive Piercy, has a long history on Vancouver Island that began when his grandfather started J. Piercy & Co. back in the mid-1800s. To this day, we remain true to those origins in all that we do - from supporting local farmers to sponsoring local events. Our rooftop grill has been voted in the top ten restaurants with a view in BC, and our cocktail lounge off the lobby has been named one of the top ten hotel bars in the world three times.
