For our last evening on Vancouver Island, we chose to stay at the Grand Pacific--and we're so glad we did. The view from our room was lovely both day and night. Beautiful accommodations; super comfortable bed and shower, excellent and friendly service. Convenient underground parking. We loved that we could walk from our hotel to most anything: the museum, great... More

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights while in Victoria. Enjoyed the room with a view of the harbor and the beds were very comfortable. We had a mini fridge in the room and a coffee /tea maker which was great to have. The location of the hotel was nice for walking to restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. They even... More

The Hotel Grand Pacific treated us not only to excellent accommodation, tasty breakfasts and first class service during our recent stay, but its central location right on the harbour front put many of Victoria's attractions within easy walking distance. The building's façade is quite impressive, the foyer is tastefully furnished and the reception staff were very professional, which gave us... More

The Doorman greeted us with a big smile in his suit and hat in the blustery weather. It was quite cold and he was still smiling. He a showed us to the front desk. The staff was very accomodating by giving us ready rooms as we arrived off the ferry which was directly across the street from the hotel driveway.... More

We stayed here Oct 31/Nov1 part of a BC Ferries Vacations Package, which included upgrade to a harbour view room. The hotel is immaculate, all staff very friendly and helpful. We used the facilities in the Victoria Athletic Club which is located in the hotel and found them the same, immaculate, very well equipped and friendly staff. The location of... More

I had to be in Victoria overnight and found this hotel conveniently located, quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They even had umbrellas available in case of rain. I was fortune enough to take in the Viking exhibit at the Royal Museum which is located just a few blocks away.

Lots of places have those hidden parking fees (though not usually in the shoulder or off season) but that doesn't mean we like them! Nasty hidden $17pn parking fee means we won't go back though the rest of our stay was nice enough.

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at the Hotel Grand Pacific. I’m sorry to hear you felt that we had “hidden” our parking fees, which are on-par or lower than other comparable Victoria hotels. We feel that we’re quite upfront about the fact that parking is available for a fee – it’s clearly... More

We stayed at the Hotel Grand Pacific for 2 nights in late September, and had a very lovely stay. The hotel is located right across the street from the Coho Ferry terminal, which was an easy walk, even with kids, grandparents and suitcases in tow. The hotel is large, but it still felt quaint and cozy. The lobby was nice,... More

The Hotel Grand Pacific is minutes away from the downtown area of Victoria. Steps away from the Harbour and the Fairmont Empress, in short - central and close to everything. The rooms are very spacious and clean and well-appointed. I was there for only one night and wish I had a longer time to enjoy this very lovely hotel.

This is a very nice property that needs a little TLC. Beautiful setting, decent rooms and nice amenities. Signs of wear and tear in spots but overall a very nice place to stay. A problem with the cots ( do not get one ) that was rectified a.s.a.p. Thanks to Scott & James for this.

Thank Mark B
