Such a lovely spot, located in the James Bay area, near the bus line to downtown. (about a mile to downtown, so easily walkable for some people). Jen Smith, the proprietress, was most helpful with bus schedules to get us where we wanted to go. Our group of 7 occupied the whole place and we found the beds very comfortable...

The Fisher House is one of three standing properties built by the same architect and builder in the early 1900's. Its neighbors are all late 20th century apartments and condos. Thus, with its rich Victorian architecture and coloring, it stands out as a Victorian mini-gem in a sea of contemporary blah. Better yet, its owners treat it with love and...

Charming house close to parliament building and the Emperess. The rooms are furnished with oldfashioned interior. I had the single add-on which belongs to the sarah suite where my friends stayed. The window faces the street which makes it a tiny bit louder and the door is a bit jammed sometimes. You also have a hard time going to the...

This B&B was in a great location, the room was nice, the breakfast was great. Our hostess was wonderful at making recommendations including good places to buy cookies and pastries. The home is historical with a front parlor and four rooms upstairs. Three of the rooms had bathrooms across the hall while the fourth was across the back of the...

We enjoyed our two-night stay at Jen's. A lovely house, very quaint. A pretty room (no. 1) with a balcony and en-suite. A comfortable guest lounge. Tasty breakfast, although it is the first time we had had quiche for breakfast! Friendly hosts.

My wife and I love the James Bay area, and the Fisher House B&B is situated in the middle of the neighbourhood. It's only a 20-minute walk from the Victoria downtown, with all its tourist attractions, as well as a short stroll to the Ogden Point breakwater and the cruise ship terminal. Very convenient and in a quiet neighbourhood. Our...

Fisher House is strategically placed so that you can walk to most of Victoria's major attractions. Jenny was a fun and gracious hostess. We enjoyed the delicious gourmet breakfasts she fixed and the international company each morning. We felt right at home, enjoying hot tea and cookies while relaxing in the overstuffed chairs in the living room in the afternoon....

We stayed for 4 nights in Eleanor (room 1 with an en-suite and balcony). The room was very spacious and the balcony was a lovely place to sit in the afternoon (when it gets the sun). From start to finish we were well cared for and felt very much at home. The simple touches such as providing wine glasses as...

This B&B is in a great location. You can easily walk into town. It is a short and pleasant walk to the waterfront, the BC Museum & IMAX theatre and the bus depot. I stayed here for 4 nights and could not be happier with my room. I stayed in the room that had the en-suite. The bed was very...
