It's located in the yaletown area on Granville. It can get noisy at night as quite a few bars/clubs in the area, but from my 2nd floor room it didn't once bother me. There is plent of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets in the area and the yaletown skytrain stop is about a 5-10min walk. Most places of interest are accessible by...

I stayed in this 'hotel' for 2 nights and felt unsafe the entire time. Calling this a hotel is generous, and it's actually a hostel. The area is bad, and the lock on my door was very flimsy. The chain had been removed so I was unable to have any additional security on my door. The check in staff were...

Central location. Quiet room. Very comfortable bed. Extremely helpful staff.Travelled to visit family and was out site seeing all day therefore all I required was a comfortable bed, good shower facilities and friendly staff to point me in the right direction and I had all of that here.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a single room. What I liked The location is great. I walked to every sight in the city. The hosts at the reception were friendly and helpful. And the size of the room was good and it even had a sink in it and a ceiling fan. Plus you get fresh towels every day....

Stayed 3 nights. Clean and quiet, the location suited us very well. Only thing I didn't realize until we got there was that it was a shared bathroom with the whole floor. It didn't end up being a big deal as it was so quiet. Other than that, really no problems. shared kitchen for hot water etc, and we didn't...

Based on the reviews I was a little nervous, but I was actually quite pleased. My travel partner and I were in the first room off the staircase, and it was definitely my style. Very simple, cozy, and clean, despite previous reviews of bugs. Every once in a while you could hear a door close a little loudly, but other...

Checked into our room and paid, went up the stairs only to see dead bug carcasses under the sheets and bed bug like marks on the mattresses. Needless to say we got our refund and left immediately. Would not recommend.

The rooms are a little bit too cosy but they have a sink and fridge and the beds are comfy the service was amazing so nice and helpful, the stairs up to the second floor might get you if you have lots of luggage but it's worth it. Toilet and bathrooms are so nice and clean as well as the...

The first red flag was when we called to cancel because we found a friend to stay with on or trip to see a brother at BC childrens hospital and they wanted a $75 dollar fee. I don't know what the going rate of cancelation fees are but $75 is to much for me. Second red flag was when we...

The hotel is very modest. Almost the same principal as a hostil. Shared bathrooms and kitchen facilities. No lift and alot of stairs its too much for me. I will not be returning because of this. Otherwise if you can deal with stairs a little noise and funky smells you will be fine!

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
