We booked the deluxe King suite. What a deal. With the rate of exchange now your dollar is worth 1.30 in Canadian money so our suite was a little over $ 225.00 . Had a large living room and separate sitting area with and office desk, kitchenette , separate, large bedroom with tv . VERY CLEAN. Staff was very welcoming...

We spent the nite before we took a Royal Caribbean cruise departure to Alaska . Clean, great room view, helpful front desk help (Jessie). We walked or luggage over downhill 2 blocks to cruise terminal port.

The Auberge is really a great place to stay when visiting Vancouver. It's a block away from the waterfront, a couple blocks to Gastown, and few blocks to Robson Street--so it's close to plenty of activities. We had a corner room and it was huge. We kept commenting how we could use it as an apartment if it had a...

I only stayed one night at this hotel. I found the room and bathroom to be a nice size. The beds were comfortable and we had a great view from our room. The only downside that prevents the room from being perfect was that the air conditioning was not working. The drapes had been left open while we were out...

I love the Auberge. The rooms are spacious; the suites are fabulous. The harbor views are great. The proximity to the convention center is convenient. The fitness center and pool are deluxe. Some of the furniture is a little dated, but the great rates help me overlook that minor ding. The breakfast is basic, but its free.

Auberge Vancouver is in an ideal location. About a 2 minute walk from Canada place, 5-10 mins to gas town. You can walk along the sea wall to Stanley park in about 30 mins. It is a nice hotel with a good pool. I stayed for 6 nights for a work conference and was in a suite with a kitchenette,...

Great staff, ideal location but the hotel is dated. If they just put in new carpets, it would do wonders. But access to high end restaurants and shops is within walking distance. And the staff were excellent.

My wife and I spent a lovely couple of days at Auberge in mid-April. All things considered; price, location, room quality, etc. Auberge is hard to beat. We checked in late in the afternoon and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was a suite on the 9th floor. Very clean and roomy with wonderful views...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
