Room was very nice, the hotel actually seemed to be a breakaway from an apartment building. Situated close to Gastown. Lots of restaurants nearby. Apparently there is also a pub in the hotel but I never visited it. Breakfast was a dismal affair. I would think a supposed 5* would have some hot food but this hotel never.

Stayed one night for business and was very impressed with the location. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms I have ever seen, complete with a legitimate power rack and enough plates to actually accomplish a meaningful workout. The complimentary continental breakfast was basic but adequate. I was visiting for business and the only downside I experienced was... More

Great hotel. Close to convention centre, nice lite breakfast included, wonderful staff, very clean, great pool, hot tub and fitness centre. Second stay here and will gladly stay again. Much better deal than some other hotels less than a block away.

We stayed here for one night prior to boarding a cruise at Canada Place and it certainly has a great location for a pre-cruise stop. The room was nice, but there were a couple of issues which meant that we could not rate this hotel higher than average. Firstly, reception allocated us to the wrong room and gave us a... More

Basic room in a great location, except we found ants in our room. When we called down to alert the front desk we had to call numerous times before they sent someone up to check it out. I'm so glad I ended up selecting this hotel. The location is fantastic. Within a walking distance to the skytrain and the airport. We even had the chance to use... More

There are perhaps 40-50 rooms of various sizes in this well furnished hotel located close to the cruise terminal in downtown Vancouver. Our room, a corner suite with a city and partial water view, was very comfortable and very reasonably priced. On the 12th floor, it was above most, but not all, of the city noise. A big plus is... Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
