The previous reviews have said it all. This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay in a wonderful location. We stayed in Suite 10 which is the new two bedroom suite and quite honestly could have lived there. The suite is so well appointed and the extras provided make it feel like home. Kitsilano itself is a great location. You...

This was our first vacation rental and first visit to Vancouver, BC. From the get go, every email sent was met with a prompt replay and every question we had was addressed. We arrived later than expected and arrangements were made for easy access to our unit. I was immediately struck by the curb appeal of this completely restored 1915...

Our unit was better equipped than home~! You will want for nothing! The location is perfect - you do not need a car. You can walk to groceries and so many food options, you would have to stay 6 months to try them all...and each one is amazing. Buy a bus pass to go into the city, to the ferry,...

I stayed for a week at this charming B&B. It was fully furnished and close to everything you needed. It had a fully furnished kitchenette, bathroom, linens, towels, cable TV. The B&B also had a washer and dryer if you needed to do laundry in a pinch. I literally only needed to bring my clothes and toothbrush. Restaurants, grocery stores,...

The most well equipped and well located self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. The owner takes great pride in these suites and is always on hand to help and give advice when needed. Wrote an extensive review in 2014 and it still holds, only it just got better! Stayed last year 2015 during construction of Garden Suite #10; stayed this year again in #202 with a few days in #10. We usually stay in #202 but it was booked so we hunkered down in 202 which is a compact version of 201 -...

I stayed in the studio apartment for 5 days , visiting my son who was living around the corner. It was exactly what I wanted. It's a great space with a really nice kitchen and bathroom and well equipped. It is in close walking distance to perfect local shops - a fishmonger, butcher, vegetable shop and supermarkets and a Wholefoods...

I travel to Vancouver about six times a year for business. Kitsilano Suites is my favourite place to stay. Walking distance to Wholefoods and Safeway, local bakeries, trendy Vancouver dining, and away from the noise of the downtown core, it is the most convenient place to stay conductive to successful work trips. I have stayed in three of the suites...

Staying in Kitsilano

Neighbourhood Profile
Kitsilano
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.
