The Opus Hotel is located in Yaletown - for me one of the hot spots of Vancouver with lots of bars and Restaurants in Walking distance. I stayed in the Boutique Hotel for a whole week and enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are clean and nicely designed. The staff is were friendly and welcoming. Our room rate included the...

Came here in May 2017 and our first time staying here. Hotel is conveniently located across the train station and surrounded by great restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. The rooms are specious, clean and bright. Checking in was easy and fast. We were offered sparkling wine as soon as we approached front desk. Definitely would stay here again!

This was our 5th time staying at the Opus Hotel in Yaletown Vancouver BC. From the moment we walked in and were greeted with our remembered names and two glasses of bubbly to the wonderful note left by management acknowledging our 5th time staying and the filled bucket of ice and cold complimentary bottle of Voss water and free snacks...

What a great hotel! Super comfy king size bed, glass encased shower with all the amenities (automatic shampoo, conditioner, and body wash), or you can choose the soaking tub just across from the shower. But the real; plus for this place are the people. The employees couldn't do enough for you! The only negative was that my TV remote wouldn't...

We live this hotel close to everything. Walking distance to 100 of restaurants. We walked downtown in 10 min feels like we live in Vancouver not staying in a hotel. The rooms are luxurious and you do not hear the street noise.

The Opus was an ideal spot for us with a bed that we wanted to pack up and take home as we struggled with jet lag over our three days here. Just 50 m from the subway which will take you direct to the airport and in easy walking distance of dozens of good places to eat, walk along the...

After our cruise, my wife and I decided to stay in a Vancouver for 2 staurantextra nights and picked The Opus for our stay and we are so glad we did. Our deluxe room was beautiful, and the amenities were very nice. The food in the restaurant was excellent, but the best part of the hotel was the staff. The...

We were able to get everywhere easily from the hotel. We could walk all over the down town or easily drive to South Granville, UBC etc. The sea wall walk is 2 blocks so exercise is simple too. Staff were above and beyond friendly and knew us well within a day. We stayed 5 nights. We were on the 4th...

We really liked the location of this hotel, room is clean and new. Bizarre bathroom with a huge glass wall to the outside but it does have a shade that pulls down. Breakfast was either from a menu, extra cost, or from a buffet with a small but adequate set of options.

My wife, son and I stayed one night in one room. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Superb location. Wonderful staff. Excellent dinner, good breakfast in the restaurant. Worked out in the gym which, while small, was well equipped. Our only complaints: noise from a party in the neighbourhood on Sat night, and the sofa bed which our son slept on was uncomfortable.

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
