Great location. Got upgraded to a suite for free on check in. Given a glass of prosecco on check in. Rooms were really nice. Floor to ceiling windows everywhere. Street noise was a little noisy at night. They have a hopping bar downstairs. Didn't bother me but could be a pain for people who are light sleepers. Breakfast was simple...

The hotel you choose can make or break a vacation and I find that Opus actually makes me want to go back to Vancouver more often just to stay in the hotel! The rooms are clean and large - we stayed in a deluxe courtyard room; the bed is immensely comfortable; and the bathroom is spacious and has a heated...

A trendy and progressive hotel not easy to find but well worth the search. Modern, clean, polite and quick, if you like all these things you will find them here along with many of the small things that make for a most enjoyable stay.

What a great hotel. Lovely spacious rooms, comfy beds and I really enjoyed the under floor heating in the bathroom. Breakfast is served in the bar area, fresh fruit, great granola and warm pastries. The adjoining restaurant is a treat with a very good chef that creates wonderful Italian dishes. Above all, the team are really efficient, friendly and helpful....

First 30m in the hotel...Exquisite interaction with the Front Desk staff, light, personal, and comical. OH, and I walked away with a glass of sparkling wine! Got to the room and was blown away by the ambiance. ORANGE would not be my first color of choice but the way they had the room set and the lighting it totally worked....

Rooms are very comfortable and while not massive as it is a boutique hotel they are more than adequate. Location is excellent to transit, travel to and from airport, business, and restaurants and shopping. Continental breakfast is very good and beyond just muffins and coffee.

Beautiful hotel, ideal location--lot's around; accessible to SeaWall. Great service, nice rooms. Heated floors, had Malin+Goetz bath supplies. Would have been nice to have extra blankets in the room, but I was provided lots of pillows.

I was recommended this hotel by a friend. Beautiful hotel right in the center of downtown. But was externally disappointed by the customer service overall. I honestly wouldn't recommend this hotel, for the price point. There are nicer overall hotels in the area.

Opus is in a handy location next to Yaletown restaurants and just a half-block from the Canada Line Yaletown station. We booked a standard room and got an upgrade to a courtyard view room with a fireplace. The room was quite small but well fitted out for comfort. There was an efficient desk/work area, and a big comfy chair/ottoman next...

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
