We stayed for 2 nights mid-week and it was perfect for us. Small room but clean and comfortable. We loved the proximity to Granville and had no issues walking to and from the downtown. The hotel is also located in a nice neighbourhood. Staff were very friendly. We borrowed some bikes from the front desk for a morning and took...

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights to meet up with friends from Australia who were on a grand tour of Canada. An easy drive or taxi ride to most places of interest in Vancouver but not really within easy walking distance of much. Our room was small but adequate although very shabby and in bad need...

We stayed here for 1 night prior to a cruise. The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was good with two queen size beds. Breakfast was a standard average buffet. Although the hotel is handy for Granville Island market and the Aquabus, it is a bus or taxi ride to Gastown area...

The hotel had been reserved for me. Little did I know, it was the best choice for me. With the time difference, my arrival time was awkward and I was extremely thankful for an early check in. I was minutes away from Granville Island (the aqua bus rocks!) and could walk everywhere. My room was small but perfectly fine for...

I am pleased that we were able to check you in early and that you found our location handy for the sites you wished to visit. My husband and I went up for the weekend to visit from Seattle for 2 nights. We booked through hotels.com and the reviews were mixed but better than average so I decided why not. Mind you I booked this 2 + months in advance. We paid almost $500 for 2 nights including parking. The lobby itself was small, dated, but...

Great location, great view and many amenities in the suite, but it is very dated. The windows haven't been washed in a long time and the toilet didn't work well. I would have paid more if the hotel and room had been updated.

This was the second time we have stayed at this conveniently situated hotel and our "loyalty" was not misplaced. Comfortable room with what we though was good air conditioning (20 - 22 degrees C) to help with the heat wave we encountered, courteous front desk staff and free wine tasting which enabled us to mingle with our fellow Guests and...

Thank you for the review. We love hearing stories from our guests especially at the wine tasting as they share experiences. Part of the fun of travelling. We have had an unseasonably warm summer and have appreciated our guests assistance in keeping the air conditioning operating at peak efficiency between 20-22C. Sometimes setting a lower temperature will cause the unit...

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.

“There were a couple of housekeeping issues with our first room; one quick visit to the desk got immediate results...we were given a slightly smaller room, but with a better view and all was found intact. What we liked was that they closed the room to others until the housekeeping issues had been dealt with (damaged window frame exposing outside air into the room; towel rack falling off the wall.)”
