Clean room, comfortable beds, not all that quiet, but it was a game night. Curtains closed and the room was DARK! :-) Super friendly staff, easy check-in, secure parking, at a price, but worth it. Could use more elevators! All in all, will be back!

We stayed at the hotel because it is so close to BC Place. It was clean but let us down. The heater didn’t work, 1 of 2 elevators didn’t work consistently during the weekend and the rooms/bathrooms were small.

The noisiest hotel I gave ever had the dispkeasure of staying in. Windows are single pane even though it is located on one of the busiest streets in Vancouver. Unsure whether this review will post as the wifi keeps going out.

The hotel itself is was OK, but what ruined the whole experience was receiving a $100 fine for parking in their secure parking AFTER paying $27.83 ($23 + 21% GST) for overnight parking. We didn't notice the ticket until after leaving the hotel when it was flapping in the wind under the passenger side wiper. We have since "tried" called...

I debated rating this average or poor. I bumped it up to average because of the convenience and room comfort. The hotel is located across the street from the Queen Elizabeth theatre which is where we caught a show - so the location was great! It is also a 10 minute walk to Yaletown and a short walk to BC...

Hotel was ok. Room was small, actually tiny. My suitcase took up half the floor space. Wifi only worked if i stood right by my door with one leg in the air. Elevators to the parking garage at slow but no big deal. $23 plus $6 in taxes for parking daily which would be fine if you could actually fit...

Fairly central hotel that has 2 restaurants on site. The room included a mini fridge coffee maker and glassware. There is secured underground parking available with elevator access. The staff is well trained from house keeping to the front desk

I've stayed at Sandman hotels all over BC and Alberta, I have over 70 stays under my belt in the past 4 years. I never once stayed in one because I liked the hotel, I only ever stayed because of how simple and straightforward the lucky 13 program is. Stay 12 nights get the 13th free, no muss no fuss....

Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
