Visiting Vancouver over spring break with my daughter.
Hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. The morning staff at the Upwind restaurant on site was great!
We enjoyed our experience and we would stay there again.
This is not a bad choice at the price point. The location is very good. I've stayed in far worse hotels for more money.
The room was relatively clean but not quite as up to date and comfortable as the two other Holiday Inn Expresses...More

Stayed 4 nights for business, arriving on the weekend.
Good location for walking around the downtown area - 5 minutes walk to Yaletown and Granville St shopping & restaurant area, 5-10 min to Davie Village restaurants, and Granville Island Markets (if you take the water...More
I’ve stayed at the Holiday Inn in downtown Vancouver a few times over the years, centrally located, clean and comfortable rooms, good price, walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. A good choice for anyone who wants to see a hockey game or rock and...More
I travel for work and understand downtown hotels very well. Usually older and weird layouts. This is half right with this IHG hotel. Overall in okay shape. My room was a studio suite. Bed frame was rickety and small. I think at one time it...More

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
