Really kind and friendly hosts, delicious breakfast and cosy tidy room. The location of this B&B is fantastic as well, in the heart of kits, a stone's throw away from the beach. Fantastic food will surround you with easy connections in to downtown. A perfect, peaceful, place to rest up - highly recommended if that's what you're after.

A great place to stay close to buses to go down town and Granville Island which is definately a must to visit is only a fifteen minute walk away-our hosts Patricia and her husband were very friendly and helpful. We always stay in B&B's much better value than impersonal hotels. Thankyou for a very pleasant seven day stay in Vancouver....

Parking terrible, room smell old, if you have food allergy no breakfast for you, even though she would have GF breakfast! Really out dated, never bother with up grading the house, not welcoming feeling.

We are seniors who visit young granddaughters living near-by in a small apartment with their parents. Kim and Patricia welcome us into their home, and staying there is a treat. It is a neighbourhood house, of mature vintage as most of those houses. The place is comfortable, the hosts warm and gracious. They even had our granddaughters join us for...

We had the two suites on the top floor. The twin bed was uncomfortable but the queens were adequate. The bathrooms were small with low ceilings. Only the bigger room had a thermostat and it seemed to control the entire floor. The TVs were small and the one in the smaller room was not working properly. Both rooms did have...

We stayed at the Patio Suite for 3 nights. Actually we wanted to leave after 1 night but other B&Bs were booked out at that time. The first impression was the patio which was full of fallen leaves& the garden furniture were dirty so we couldn't sit on them. There are 2 bedrooms in the suite& a big bathroom, enough...

Great location near Kitsilano beach and Granville Island, slightly quirky bed and breakfast dont expect 5 star but do expect a friendly welcome and functional B&B. The breakfasts were lovely but you had to have whats put in front of you - although we didnt ask for a replacement as the pancakes, french toast and omelette/tortilla were perfect - sometimes...

We stayed at Maple House for a five nights in July 2012. We stayed in an area below the main house with two rooms and a bathroom. The rooms were warm and clean, and were well stocked with a range of books. Cooked breakfast was provided each morning and was very nice. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and I...

...When six of us arrived at the house, there were slippers for us at the entry. Our rooms located on the second floor. I believe there is another room on the attic but did not have a look. It is difficult to take your luggage upstairs through a narrow staircase. The owner live downstairs where they serve breakfast. First we...

Staying in Kitsilano

Neighbourhood Profile
Kitsilano
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.
