I chose this hotel based on pricing and proximity to waterfront. I was unfamiliar with Vancouver and didn't want to be in a large chain hotel. Was not disappointed. Great launching off point for day excursions near a bustling market area, parks and marinas. Courteous staff and comfortable room. Loved the Dockside restaurant and patio right on the water. My...

Given the price, I expected far better customer service. Service at the restaurant was shocking - customers seemed like a distraction rather than the raison d'etre. Very weak leadership all around. I expected much more given the price. Not worth the price. Much better training of staff needed.

If you like a funky artsy atmosphere this is the place, with water taxis available to hop over to town museums you can avoid much of the Vancouver traffic. Loved staying at the Granville Island Hotel right in midst of it all. A very short drive to the park- had kayak rentals, beach volleyball and a great view of the...

We stayed in a corner executive suite with floor to ceiling windows. We enjoyed watching all of the activity taking place on the water - boats, sail boats, paddle boarding, sculling, water taxis, etc. The suite was spotless and quiet. We ordered room service for breakfast and it arrived hot and fresh. Made our own coffee in the machine as...

We initially chose to stay here because of the location and weren't disappointed. The location benefits from it's close proximity to the daytime bustle of the island market and great views of downtown Vancouver. In the evenings the island turns into a quiet neighborhood and is perfect for a relaxing evening at the end of a busy day. We stayed...

Needed rest and relaxation after frenetic week of cruising to Aaska. Granville Island was perfect bucolic setting, friendly atmosphere, weather perfect. Just regret that this stay was too short. Would stay there again.

Stayed here as I had conference up on W Broadway so was close. $6 taxi ride away. The room was smaller but very nice. Had my own balcony with chairs and table. Loved that the mini bar was loaded and was not bad for pricing. The restaurant was fully booked so stayed in lounge and could choose form the full...
