Nice little rooms.....quaint little breakfast area......friendly staff.......excellent location......its best if you request a room with a private bathroom. The hotel also has a sauna which is nice and the restaurant is attached to the hotel itself and has a great menu and great staff.
Because of a last minute reservation, the only room available was with shared bathroom down the hall. Probably the cleanest of this kind that I have seen. The next day we moved to a room with private restroom. Served breakfast included bagel or toasts, orange...More
I stayed there quite a long time ago, so hopefully it hasn't changed much. Price was fantastic in the off season. I came to Vancouver to check out a Video Game school before attending. Although I rented a car, overnight parking is expensive, but I...More
The location and staff are superb. The room and bathroom were large and comfortable with two double beds and a seating area with two comfy chairs. Perfect for two old friends meeting for a visit and to do some sight seeing. The breakfast was more...More
A great find, quiet, very clean, inexpensive and you are right downtown Vancouver. My room was small, but had it's own bathroom, (some are shared or down the hall), room came with robes and slippers. The only disappointment, was the included breakfast (not like a...More
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also
popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.

The rooms I've stayed in both times I was there were the same. They are small rooms but ample for one person. There is the bed, desk and chair. There is a mirror and a sink in room. The shared bathrooms are just down the hall plus there are some on other floors. I never had a time I had to wait. I personally was never bothered by construction noise. It is an older hotel so no air conditioning but there is a fan and the window does open. It was fine for me and I was there in August. There are many little alcoves with comfy chairs around the place if you want to sit and read. Staff are extremely helpful. My room didn't have a tv. Not sure what the bigger rooms are like. It is so central to everything. The morning continental is adequate. Toast or bagel, juice, coffee, tea. Not sure what else. I hope this helps.
