Had a very comfortable stay for 6 nights in Vancouver here. It is ideally located for central/downtown Vancouver and a 15 mins walk to Gastown. Clean, modern and good showers. The hotel pool and hot tub was enjoyed by our daughter every day. The lifts were slow if you are on a high floor (but then you do get good...

We stayed for 5 days. Our apartment was well furnished, clean and had a small kitchenette and separate lounge room. A Laundry on our floor was very handy. Included was a continental breakfast in the dining room which was plentiful. Free wifi was a little slow at times. Very helpful staff. The location was within walking distance of the city...

First time in Vancouver. The location of this hotel is excellent. Walking distance to almost everything. Close to trendy Yaletown and the fantastic restaurants as well as a short walk to catch a water taxi to Granville Island. Access to the Hop-on Hop-off bus is in the next street and you can purchase your tickets from the concierge. The rooms...

After our great experience a couple of years ago, I decided to come back for surprise party for my husband's birthday. They did it again! Good food, great service, nice perks and reasonable cost. Even with rain and big windstorms, everyone had fun. Thanks to Kristina Sinclair and her team. If you want to have a party for about 30-40...

Dear Trips 2830: Thank you for your kind comments about Kristina and her team. It is always good to hear when things went well. For your information we have two ways that we recognize our staff for a job well done. First they get a gift card in recognition for the particular good comment. Second, the team member is placed...

We spent several nights here at different times during our visit. All of the apartments are well furnished and quiet. There is a small kitchen and separate lounge which makes it very comfortable. Our travel agent had booked this hotel and we were very pleased she did. Well located near shopping and eateries and now there is an on site restaurant...

We stayed four nights in this hotel with my family and we have been totally satisfied. Excellent location, I think one of the best in Vancouver since all city's major attractions are within walking distance. Nice and clean with good service. Two small comments, the double beds are really narrow for two and the wifi signal is a bit weak...

I spent a night here while on a combined business/shopping trip. Frankly I booked because of the price (under $200 for a room with kitchenette); I wasn't expecting much because other mid-range options in the downtown core are a lot pricier. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the staff (right down to the housekeeping) were friendly, helpful and...

It's not the most swank five star hotel, but it was well appointed, had friendly knowledgeable staff and nice rooms. We booked a night away in Vancouver as just a nice overnighter. We didn't realize that there were so many events taking place at the same time. Even so, the staff was helpful, cheery and downright awesome. They had a...

We stayed here for four nights. A good hotel in a good location. I liked being able to open the window as often this is not the case in a high-rise hotel. The air conditioning was a bit rattly but not an issue. Wifi was not reliable in the room but fine in the lobby. Wallking distance to Gastown, Canada...

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
