Arriving in a strange City, 6 hours before taking off on a 13 hour flight across the Pacific, is a recipe for bad jetlag. The Rosedale on Robson was an excellent hotel to "crash out" and use as a base for a few days in Vancouver. Staff, especially those on reception, were welcoming at all times with no request being... I stayed here while attending a conference at the Vancouver Convention Center. While there are other hotels closer to the waterfront, this hotel was an easy walk to anywhere downtown, and very close to the White Caps stadium if you are a soccer fan. There are plenty of take out restaurants nearby which is convenient since the suites provide a... More

This hotel was a good place to stay not only for its central location but the accomodation was spacious and well appointed with a small lounge and a well equipped kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I would like to make special mention of the concierge who went beyond the bounds of normal service. We were on the 18th... More

My husband and I found this hotel perfect for our needs. We have a 10 year old who slept easily on the pull out couch which was separate from the spacious bedroom. Each area had their own flat screen TV and their was small kitchenette for simple cooking and refrigerating of breakfast foods/leftovers etc. There is also a coin operated... More

We booked for four nights in a two queen bed room with breakfast, and were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a two bedroom self contained unit. The rooms were perfect. Both bedrooms had a TV and floor to ceiling windows with views across the city. We even had a water view. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean.... More

We stayed at the Rosedale twice, before and after a cruise. The location is great. The staff are very friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and well appointed. It was quiet until the last night when the room above us decided to let a child run up and down constantly. This noise did transfer through the ceiling. The rest... More

I picked this hotel because of the apartment style accommodation and because it was on Robson st. My 17 year old daughter and I based ourselves here for 6 nights for our adventures in Vancouver.. check in was easy as well as checkout. The front desk staff were always helpful and friendly with any query or assistance. Unfortunately we couldn't... More

We had a very comfortable stay. The location of this hotel is excellent, it is very close to Yaletown, the stadium and Robeson St and only 10 mins walk from Gaston. The room while not as large as many modern suite hotels was well kept up and clean. The breakfast is okay for a short stay but would get boring... More

We stayed here for the Taylor Swift concert in August. The location is perfect, close to everything. We walked Robson street and went to restaurants. Walking location to BC Place where the concert was. Our room was very spacious, it had a kitchenette when you walked in with a seating area which the sofa pulled out to a bed, plus... More

Only 2 blocks from BC Place, this is an outstanding hotel if you are going to events at the stadium. It's also located in the very "happening" Yaletown neighborhood of Vancouver so within a few blocks of the hotel are dozens of fantastic restaurants and bars as well as fun shops. We were able to walk everywhere, including down to... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
