We were staying because we had an appointment at the hospital so it is great to be right next to it. The staff is all super friendly and very willing to help. The Prime Restaurant is very expensive but the food is very good. The room lacked a few things and the carpet really needed cleaning but overall was fine....

To make the food services more variety to suite all traveler. I was not impressed with the spaghetti dinner I ordered and did not end up eating it. Overall the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Depending which side you are on the noise from the outside public was like having them in my room yelling and carrying on. Staff...

Helpful friendly staff. Wonderful location. Room was old and dated but clean and well priced. The pool is a disaster. The parking was convenient. We were there for surgery at St Paul's and it couldn't be more convenient

I could not leave it without attention! We stayed in this hotel on March 22 for a night, and were checked in by a front desk agent, who smelled alcohol!!! What a great first impression!!? I believe his name was Doug. We travel pretty often, and it was our first time with my family in this beautiful hotel. In general...

The room was nice and big. It was clean and it was a good location and value. However I preordered breakfast and they were late delivering. The restaurant was average as well. Front desk was nice and helpful.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Room came with a voucher for the restaurant although we didnt have time to use it but it's good for drinks as well as breakfast. King suite was awesome on the 27th floor. Good value for a central downtown Vancouver location. Very friendly staff. Nice view, clean room. We would stay again and recommend to others. It was nice to have a full kitchen. We received a free $25 voucher for the restaurant, which was nice food and great service.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
