When choosing a hotel for a romantic trip, one is always plagued by doubts as to the validity of the reviews. From the moment we arrived until check-out there was nothing but a validation of the appropriateness of our selection. Quality, service and accommodations were superb.

The hotel was close enough to our restaurant choices that we were able to walk. We really appreciated the hotel's shuttle which took us to Stanley Park free of charge. The rooms were lovely and the hotel was very quiet

I had a great experience. The travel agent made a mistake and actually cancelled my hotel! Luckily the Georgian Court team were wonderful and were able to fix this... they even gave me an upgrade to a suite.

Enjoyed our stay in this Hotel very much. Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms, great location and was priced well. The food and service in Frankie's restaurant was excellent and the Jazz club was great!

Room was great! Just wish the wifi was a bit better but that will definitely not take away from the whole experience. The ladies floor is the greatest idea and those little things do matter. Thank you for a great stay and great food.

We chose to stay at The Georgian Court because of its proximity to BC Place and the great reviews on Travelocity. We were so pleased. The suite had more amenities than I've ever seen at a hotel. Nespresso Coffee in the room and even had a flat iron. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and...

Arrived here after a long day and we were delighted to find we'd been upgraded to the penthouse suite! The room was incredible! Every little detail had be catered for. 'To-go' cardboard coffee cups, curlers and straighteners in the dressing room, bottled water etc. The view of the stadium was phenomenonal! We were going to out for a meal but...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
