Yes, we do love this hotel. It's the greatest location, close to good restaurants for any meal (try the cactus club for dinner), and it's an easy walk for us to the cruise port but we are regular walkers. It's not far but if you are weak or frail, a taxi only has to take you a few blocks. The... More

I wanted to visit Vancouver since they had the Olympics in that city. What a gorgeous city, clean, visitor friendly and plenty to do. Buy a hop on, hop off pass, catch the trolley and go through Stanley Park. Beautiful, large rose garden, excellent meal at the Fish House in the park and the aquarium was a really terrific place... Nice rooms, very helpful staff. Two minute walk to the water front and much cheaper rates than the hotels right on the water front. The small coffee shop around the corner makes much better coffee than the Starbucks across the road. In-room Wi-Fi is dear (just under $16) but I signed up for Marriott's reward program and charges were waived.... More

Well this must be the tenth time we have stayed here. Great location, good lounge and amazing staff. The location is perfect. A little walk will get you to Stanley Park or Gas Town. Will go back again soon. A lot of good food locations close by is always a bonus too.

The Marriott Pinnacle Hotel is situated close to the water and within close walking distance to both shopping and business areas. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. If you like beds a little on the soft side, then you will have a comfortable sleep. There is no in-house coffee shop but there is a Starbucks across the road... More

Dear SagMoonTravels, Thank you kindly for taking the time to provide us with some feedback. I apologize for your disappointment in the parking rates. I can understand your concern as Vancouver parking rates can be expensive. Unfortunately, the parking lot is managed by a third-party and the hotel does not have any jurisdiction in regards to rates or operations. Everything... More

My wife and I spent the night here for an in town vacation. Location is perfect to enjoy the Vancouver sights. Our room was very nice. Corner suite with view of the water. The bathroom was a good size and had a window, rare in a hotel room. Parking and breakfast was included in our rate. Service was excellent. Would... More

We arrived at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel on the 30th of June, the day before Canada Day. The hotel is about two blocks from Canada Place. We were there for a Princess cruise to Alaska and surprised how close to the pier we were. We had 2 days to enjoy Vancouver and the best way to enjoy Vancouver... More

Stayed at the Pinnacle for 2 days, and had a wonderful experience. The room was on the 29th floor, with windows that gave a sweeping view of the water and the city, and the window line was semi-circular. We stayed here twice on our recent Canadian trip. Rooms are large and well equipped, light and airy. Reception excellent, despite arriving at 1000 our room was ready for us. Restaurant good with well cooked food in large portions. Service very friendly. Only niggle was charging for wi fi (expensively) in the room. Free in lobby though

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
