Stayed one night as I was seeing a show at Rogers arena. They were pretty full when I booked, so I couldn't get a private bath, but semi-private worked just fine. The room was fairly small, but super clean and had everything I needed... Even a couple of extra things; I wasn't expecting shampoo and shower gel to be honest....

Easy, pleasant stay at the YWCA - rooms are basic, clean & comfortable - the sink & fridge were handy to have, and there are kitchens throughout the hotel. Wifi is great, and the staff were more than helpful whenever we had questions :) would definitely come back here if ever in Vancouver!

Location - on Beatty St, 2 blocks off Robson (the main shopping street) - right opposite the stadium. About a 30 minute walk to the top of Robson, 30-40 minute walk to Stanley Park. 5 minute walk from major Stanley Park bus route. Easy access (10 minutes walk) of Yaletown, Chinatown and Gastown. I was not sure what to expect, and I can confidently say I was happily surprised! The room was spotless, quiet and the shared bathroom was convenient. The staff were very helpful and the location is great. This was a lucky choice and we will certainly stay again.

I feel very lucky to have found this fantastic hotel right in the centre of Vancouver with easy access to everything. Th rooms red small by some peoples standard but perfectly adequate for what we needed. We travelled with our adult daughter so chose to share a bathroom but even if we had been sharing with a stranger, it would...

The room was tiny and the bed quite uncomfortable. The bathroom was also very small. The only drinking water facility and ice machine were on the ground floor although there were kitchens on upper levels

Great location, check-in, price, room, bed, linen, parking and experience! My room, with double bed and private bathroom/shower was amazing! Clean quiet and secure. A/C was awesome. Toiletries and blow dryer provided. TV. Iron and ironing board. I would recommend this place for any age group, solo travellers and families

. . . was, in a single word, excellent. Check in and check out were easy and all my questions and requests were handled promptly and thoroughly. Looking back, I cannot point out a single thing which I was unhappy about. Everything went very smoothly; my only wish was that every place I have ever stayed would function as smoothly...

It has been nice at this Hostel, it was brilliantly located in downtown, the staff was very friendly. There is a nice Italian cafe in the street for great breakfast and coffee. There´s a supermarket not too far away.

My friends and I stayed in the Quint, a room with one full size and 4 twin sized beds. The beds were clean and comfort as well as the bathroom. As far as concern, the Y has a very nice, hospitable, informative and all-around helpful. Perfect location...across from the soccer arena.

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
