I read the lobby is very busy and this is true. It tends to be very busy. It is a beautiful hotel overall. We went on a cruise and had a porter take our bags right over to the hotel which was convenient. They held...More

Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also
popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.

Good day! You may take the 620 bus from Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal to Bridgeport Skytrain Station (approx 35 mins), and take the Canada Line Skytrain from Brideport Station to Waterfront Station (approx 18 mins). Head northwest on W Cordova St toward Granville St. Turn right onto Howe St and a slight left onto Canada Pl. It's approximately a 4-minute walk from Waterfront Station. Thank you.

I would beg to differ. Rather than an eyesore, the western red cedar cabin style ‘hut’ is emblematic of the west coast, Vancouver and The Waterfront in terms of materials, style and location across from the harbour. I was hoping that it was a new First Nations influenced gift shop, a place for the mascot dog, or storage for more BMW bicycles to better explore the beautiful city. If you’re interested in a more urban piece outside a Fairmont, try a block away at the Fairmont Pacific Rim with its Porsche Panamera parked in the water feature outside. Cheers.
