Okay travelers. Here it is. What the folks say is true. The hotel has not been updated since the 60's or 70's. There were waves in the green carpet, the goose poop on my railing seemed about 10 years old, the formica counters had been burned many, many times..... So, how come the "average" rating???? Well, it is across the...

Woud not recommend. The room was smelly because of the old furniture. Early in the morning they were busy with renovations in the hotel so wel couldn't sleep out. When we complained about this the reception said it was probably people checking out!! Well I never checked out with a hammer. Waste of money.

It is not a cheap hotel for what it offers. It is really old, the room smelled horrible, they didn't even give you shampoo and soap. The only good thing is the location and the Spanish girl at the front desk, who was very nice. I would not recommend this hotel.

Superbly located hotel, with free parking which was a real bonus. The rooms themselves are like a trip to the early 1970's, but are clean & do the trick. The shower was hot & had great water pressure which was a nice surprise! Not luxurious by any means, but if all you're after is a central spot to sleep, this...

I wish there was a half rating, because I would put this hotel at 2 and a half, right smack dab in the middle. There are a lot of cons, but also a few very good pros to this place. First, I will tell you that when I travel, I don't look for luxury in accommodation, I simply look for...

After three days was told the toilet was broken and I would have to move to another suite. No offer to help me move suites and no compensation for moving. This staff doesn't care and the owner doesn't care about the customers. Terrible hotel. Dump.

We stayed at the property in August this year and, to be perfectly honest, did not expect any kind of luxury- just a clean, comfortable accommodation. We arrived at the front desk and ended up waiting in the empty lobby at a deserted front desk counter for about 15 minutes. I saw a young east Indian gentleman talking on the...

I read other reviews of this hotel and started to get a bit nervous but, after staying there, wonder just what their problem was. Yes, it's an old building and shows its age but it was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Yes, it would have been nice to see more in the kitchen -- a microwave, maybe? --...

Maybe it was coming off a 14 hour direct flight, maybe it was the time lag between home and Canada or maybe it was just being smack bang in the busiest street in Vancouver that made it near impossible to sleep. The location was excellent - except at night / early morning when you would like a bit of peace,...
