We enjoyed our stay at The Burrard.
Overall the hotel was very nice and had a Miami vibe to it. The staff were helpful and friendly. Additionally, the large courtyard in the middle was nice, even in the Vancouver winter!

I had a fabulous time staying here, and was impressed as soon as I walked into the room. Immaculately prepared and facing Burrard Street with heavy curtains ready to block out the lights whenever needed. The check-in, service throughout, and room turnover service was all...More
My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Burrard and loved it. It has a really nice vibe - something of a cross between a fancy hostel and a boutique hotel, at a very reasonable price (particularly given its great location)!

This was a great find in my favorite city for a last minute booking. The rooms are cute; all open into a central open courtyard space, motel style. The vibe is mod and quirky, with lots of cool Dina Goldstein prints scattered throughout the lobby...More
This was a fabulous little hotel at a much, much lower cost than other hotels in the area. Very convenient access to downtown Vancouver, the waterfront, Convention Centre and restaurants.

Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy
social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.

There should be a Nespresso machine in your suite with about 5 dark and 5 decaf coffee pods -- free of charge. Cream and sugar in your mini-fridge. Should also be 2 bottles of water - no charge. The hotel coffee shop was closed during my stay (plumbing problem), but there is a Starbucks across the street. There are no shortages of coffee shops in downtown Vancouver.

I think it is 3pm but to be honest when I arrived at 2pm they said my room wasn’t ready - which was fine because I was early. I didn’t come back until after 4:30pm and my room still wasn’t ready. I found out once I got into it that they had been shampooing the carpets and they were still soaking wet. They moved me to another room and quickly, but they could have been honest about why my room wasn’t ready.
