The St Regis Hotel ticked all the boxes, well located within easy walking distance of sights, shopping malls and eateries. The staff were very helpful and provided many tips on sights to see and places to eat. Rooms clean and well appointed, beds very comfortable with quality linen. Breakfast was ample, with a choice of continental or a cooked breakfast....

Stayed here for the second time after a number of years and came away with the same thought : this is a really good price quality relationship in an almost great location. I walked everywhere in downtown and there there is a Sky Train station entrance next door, parking is extra but well located in an adjacent underground garage. The...

We flew into Vancouver and chose to have a two night stopover before continuing up to Big White. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted and made to feel right at home. The staff were tremendous - friendly, full of useful advice, and always quick to assist. We had a basic room given we were staying such...

This is right in the heart of Vancouver and is within walking distance to Gastown, the waterfront, and just about everything. The hotel has been remodeled recently and it shows. Also, don't miss out on the included, full breakfast - the options included omelets, bacon & eggs, yogurt, and toast. We'd stay again!

Thank-you very much for your generous review about our hotel. One of the secrets to the freshly remodelled shape of our hotel is an annual refurbishment and deep cleaning that our hotel gets every winter. We shut one floor of the hotel down at a time and remove all the furniture, to deep clean and make any necessary repairs. It...

I chose this hotel over another one near by as soon as I was told it has secured underground parking. A year ago my vehicle was broken into while staying at a hotel whose parking garage anyone could access. Peace of mind is priceless. I'm a light sleeper, so took others advice and requested a room not facing the street....

What a find. Boutique hotel boasting free local AND international (inc to U.K. Mobiles) calls, full breakfast included. Comfy, friendly, clean and well kept. Apparently used to be a dive, well no more. My wife and I stayed for three nights and we'd definitely return. Honestly can't fault the place.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
