The rooms are elegantly appointed but not stuffy. Easy to just relax after a long day. Staff courteous and efficient. There was an annoying fellow checking in before me but the desk staff handled him with tact and aplomb. The room service from the restaurant was very good. Food arrived hot and tasty.

This is a really nice boutique hotel in a central location. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Junior Suite and it certainly met our expectations. Large room with a separate sitting area, and beautiful views from our windows. The staff are very friendly and helpful, which really makes a difference. The location is very good for visiting...

Hotel Le Soleil Vancouver is, simply put, a Secret Gem! We recently had two stays (one week apart) at this sensational Boutique Hotel in downtown Vancouver. I do hesitate in sharing the secret as once word is out about the high standard of service, extremely reasonable Peak Season rates and the beautifully appointed rooms, then we may very well find...

Really nice hotel. Right from the valet parking through check-in, the staff was great. Room was a small suite with a sitting area and tv, bathroom and bedroom with queen bed. Bedroom also had a tv. Bathroom had Aveda brand soaps and shampoos. It had no tub but a large modern shower. We did not try the restaurant but there...

I love the small comfy lobby of Le Soleil with its lovely sun motif. It is beautifully decorated and the rooms similarly have a lovely European quality. We had a corner suite which meant that we had lots of light and beautiful furniture albeit so much of it the rooms became somewhat crowded once we hauled in all our luggage....

I hesitate to write this review as I don't want to risk my ability to secure a room at this amazing hotel. Location is perfect for access to all downtown destinations and near a train station for all points beyond. The hotel itself is bright, welcoming and beautifully decorated. Housekeeping keeps the entire place (public areas / guest rooms) spotless....

My last stay in Vancouver I was put up in this hotel and let me say I was stoked. Character, friendly staff, close to good dining and pet friendly. The restaurant looked great and smelt awesome but I was not able to find time to dine unfortunately. I would stay here again forsure and solve that problem.

Very nice hotel. Nice high-quality replica of European boutique hotel and furnishings. Vents are a bit noisy but are being changed out and I believe some rooms have already had this done. Free internet. Great location. Second stay here and would stay again. Front desk service was excellent.

Our return visit to this delightful and spotless well maintained hotel did not disappoint. The ambience is warm and welcoming as are each of the hotel staff with whom we had contact. Our room was on the 9th floor and our friends had a similar room on the 7th floor. The view overlooking Burrard Street from our room was worth...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
