Best part of this hotel is amazing location at Canada Place. Room was nice & functional as was bathroom but smallest bathroom to date. Room had great views of swimming pool, cruise terminal & float planes landing but was nothing fantastic. Concierge very helpful & bar area had great live music from super Canadian gentleman - not to be missed....

Got a Special Rate , and had a " Corner Harbour View Room ".....All I Can Say is WOW!!!...The view was Outstanding!! The CruiseShips were right there. Awsome Hotel, from the greeting you get when you walk into the hotel to the service in the lounge. Rooms were very comfy. The Parking garage could accommodate my 1/2 ton pick-up. It...

This is a first class hotel with every comfort. The roof top pool and lounge bar areas were a real treat overlooking the bay while enjoying the facilities was a great way to unwind after a busy holiday. Well worth a visit although a bit taken aback having to pay for wifi nowadays! Rooms were really well appointed and comfortable...

We checked into the Pan Pacific at the end of an Alaskan cruise and we were more than pleased. The room was elegant and richly appointed. We were in a corner room that looked over the city and toward the ships, very beautiful and interesting. We were within walking distance of many sites, shops and restaurants and the city sight-seeing...

Can't beat the views at this place, and the high end feel keeps most families with loud children away :) Close to lots of other Night Life and restaurants, and great location for business or pleasure. Rooms are spacious and modern, and the Harbour View rooms won't disappoint!

Outstanding hotel within walking distance to cruise terminal. Wonderful way to begin or end your vacation. Staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best. Every time we have stayed at the Pan Pacific it is a great experience.

Spent a few extra dollars for a harbor view. Well worth it. The service and the hotel are far above what we expected. Were able to see cruise ships below our window and see Stanley Park across the harbor.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the start of June and thoroughly enjoyed it. We’d splashed out on a harbour view room and I’m so glad we did as the view was stunning – lots going on with the sea planes taking off and landing and the cruise ships coming in. The room was spacious and well equipped, and...

A first class hotel, spacious well equipped bedrooms with great city or bay views. We had breakfast in the hotel, which was very good and our waitress Natalia was very attentive, friendly and helpful, she even remembered our names when we returned to the hotel a week later. Service was exemplary and nothing was too much trouble for the staff,...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
