Stayed here as part of a conference. It has a bit of a quirky layout with the lobby up two levels from the street. Room was a good size, layout. Location was great especially for early morning runs along coal harbour. Hotel is well positioned for explore in the city. There a number of upscale hotels in the vicinity, all...

From LA took a repositioning cruise for 3 days up to Vancouver BC. 🚢 The convenience of the Pan Pacific hotel was great. Literally right where our ship docked. We were able to check in early and had a large very comfortable room waiting for us. We were very pleased with the attentive service at the hotel. Would definitely stay...

The Pan Pacific Hotel is an great hotel in an excellent location. Most major touristy things leave from Canada Place, which is where the Pan Pacific is located. The front desk staff was fast checking us in. We were upgraded to the Club Floor, with a nice view of the water and mountains. It was quiet and clean. Do not...

I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip for a Conference. The hotel is ideally located in the bay area of Vancouver close to the shops on Robson, Stanley Park and a range of bars and restaurants in the bay. It is also located beside the Convention Centre. The bedroom was clean and comfortable with a partial view...

The Pan Pacific in Vancouver is a great hotel getaway. The location is central but not too noisey or busy. The hotel front desk has always been helpful, efficient and very professional during my stays here. I keep coming back for the SpaUtopia location in this hotel as well!

Stayed one night before embarking our cruise ship. Arrived tired from a trans Atlantic flight and we were looked after superbly. Room was vast, bed huge and comfortable, views stunning and it was an easy wander along to waterfront restaurants and pubs. Luggage delivered straight from our room to the ship the next morning and the hotel is right on...

Firstly, Vancouver is one of the loveliest cities in the world and on a sunny day, it's completely unbeatable. Second, this hotel has the loveliest view of the loveliest city with sea planes dashing about in front of a sea and mountain backdrop you as you sip your wine of an evening. Incredibly convenient for the nearby convention centre, outstanding...

Awful slow wifi, average service in the bar. Nice bed linens, but overally place feels dated. Also painful checkin - arrived at 3pm, and told they only guarantee checkin at 4pm, so had to wait for 40 mins in lobby fresh off of a flight from Europe, which was a painful start

Thank you for taking the time to post your review regarding your recent stay. We were disappointed that your arrival experience did not meet your expectations, particularly after your long flight. While check in time is 4pm, we make every effort to accommodate early arrivals, however when occupancies are high, we are not always able to facilitate an early check-in....

This is a lovely hotel, even though it is very large we received excellent service from the moment we arrived in our privat transfer from the airport to the time we checked out. As already stated its location is perfect for pre cruise transfer direct to the ship using the lift from the lobby. When we arrived our room was...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
