Visited in July prior to taking a cruise. The hotel is located quayside at Canada Place, just yards from from the cruise liners docking point. Very large and a little impersonal, but a high standard. Outside tourist buses ply their trade and a regular stream of taxis operates.. For those who prefer to eat away from the hotel there is...

We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. Yes,the hotel is expensive but it is so worth it. The location is perfect and the service is great. I requested a king size bed with a view of Stanley park. I got exactly what I asked for. It couldn't have been better. The view was fantastic. The ease of...

Stayed in this hotel before Alaska cruise. Would have loved to stay longer. The views from our room of Vancouver were fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Best of all our luggage was collected from our room and taken directly to our room on the cruise ship. Excellent position for sightseeing.

We spent several days in the hotel . I want to notice that we were on the 23 th floor, which is the executive floor and I do not know how is on the lower floors. The price included a suite with a separated dining room on the 23 th floor. It included very rich breacfast and opportunity for free...

Delightful service from every staff member encountered, made you feel at home! Loved the room and the views from anywhere in the facility. Even though the hotel is part of a large busy conference complex you never felt crowded. Easy access to eateries, cycling and walking tracks and the many tourist pickups and facilities. Definitely worth another visit!

If you are going on a cruiseship out of Vancouver, this is the hotel for you. Very well appointed rooms. We had a view of the bay and sunset. Walking distance to parks, restaurants, and shopping areas. The staff takes your luggage directly to the ship and you literally walk into the ship without leaving the hotel area. However, expect...

You cannot beat this hotel for location the night before a cruise from Canada Place. You just take the elevator down to the cruise terminal! Very nice rooms with great customer service. This hotel is also convenient to alot of nearby restaurants and within walking distance to Gastown. We will definitely stay here again for our next cruise.

I was in Vancouver in May, prior to a cruise to Alaska. We chose the Pan Pacific through reviews on TA. It was an amazing hotel. BEAUTIFUL EVERYTHING: location, lobby, rooms, patio's, scenery, service, food. I could go on and on. The Pan Pacific was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in.

Stayed at the Pan Pacific with 3 family members the end of July. Check in was fast and easy. We were on the 20th floor with a city view. The room was quite spacious with 2 double beds, sofa, and desk. The beds were really quite small but comfortable. The view from the pool and hot tub out back is...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
