I stayed for one night, and while overall room was spacious, comfortable, and overall quality is great, there was some issues where it would've been a major problem if I wasn't traveling for work and the short duration of my stay. First, car parking. I arrived to convention center parking and was generated a parking ticket from convention center. During...

I loved the hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was not happy to have to pay extra for internet. I was also aghast at the terrible type of sheets used. They were starchy and made a rustling noise. I am sure that softer sheets could have been used.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left, this was an unforgettable stay at a superb, five-star hotel. The outstanding decor and finishes of the newly renovated rooms are only outdone by the exceptional service and quality of the staff. Ideally situated at the cruise ship terminal, convention center and minutes walk from historic Gastown, central business district...

My wife and I attended the Rugby 7's in Vancouver so decided to make a weekend of it and stayed at the Pan. We have always liked staying there as we were honeymooners there when it first opened. The staff, location and amazing views make it a destination in itself for Vancouver. Some say it's older but we feel that...

The location is ideal if you have business in the waterfront downtown area. Otherwise I would say this hotel is expensive and not a good value. It's an older hotel but furnishings have been kept up to date. Service and staff were good. Pay for wifi and cost for breakfast in an already overpriced rate is enough for me to...

This hotel has a great view to the harbor and located in walking distance from touristic places like gas town. Rooms are spacious and clean, staff is very helpful and in general we were very satisfied with the whole accommodation package. The outdoor pool and hot tub were a nice addition as well. Recommended.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
