I travelled to this hotel for business and fell in love with it. The view from my window was spectacular. Everyone's jaws drop when I show them the breathtaking view I had of the harbor and mountains. Also, the toilets are unbelievable. I've never experienced a toilet worth writing home about before, but these have to be experienced to be...

We came to this hotel after Harrison Hot Springs Resort messed up our reservations and only booked us for one night and not two. Upon arrival at the Coast Coal Harbour, it was apparent that this was going to be a different experience. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

Most of the hotels by the waterfront can be expensive. Coast coal harbor is comparatively cheaper. I got a room on the 5th flr where the gym n pool are, room comes with a terrace and somewhat of a view of the waterfront n mountains. It is clean n modern, and the bathroom is very well-maintained. I have no complaints...

This hotel is right downtown and blocks from the Waterfront Skytrain station and a few blocks from Robson St. It is close to the water and the seawall. Definitely stay there again if I am in the area.

Stayed here just for 1 Friday night in November with family of four. Had a corner room which was more than spacious. Location is near everything and easy drive to Stanley Park and Aquarium. Outdoors heated pool and Jacuzzi were perfect for an early evening swim. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!!!

Here for a conference. Stayed six days. Very nice rooms. They have beautiful bathrooms with Japanese toilets. The happy hour has good specialty drinks. Excellent breakfast. I had the salmon eggs Benedict this morning and enjoyed it. Staff is very good.

Extremely friendly staff. Nice room, comfy bed, clean, quiet despite renovations in the main entryway. Pet friendly too. Great location - had some nice walks at Stanley Park. Room service food was pretty tasty. I'd return.

Service was excellent. All staff cooperative and helpful. Checkout, in particular, with a large number of people at the same time, was handled with professionalism and grace. I would recommend the hotel to others.

Stayed 2 nights while at a conference. Very pleased with the room, service and amenities. Didn't have a chance to try the restaurant on site but it looked good. A short walk to the convention center. I would definitely come back - hopefully with the family next time.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
