I regularly stay at the ritz Carlton in the US and the Caribbean. The rosewood was equal if not better. Sophisticated but not stiff. The rooms were large and comfortable. The amenities were top notch. Short walk to "gas town" it was absolutely perfect.

I just spent three weeks in this little gem of a hotel. Though happy to return home I was sad to leave. The rooms are spacious, elegant, beds big and comfortable, Nespresso coffee machines and water are daily staples. The bathrooms very large, with a rain shower and a tub. Marble floors and walls... There are plenty of different places...

Very nice room too bad there were no convenient drawers and the pillows were too soft. They tried to find firmer pillows but actually could not find any. My husband ended up using the small cushion from the sofa as it was firm.

This hotel is wonderfully located and walking distance to downtown attractions. The rooms are spacious and well designed with a seating area and large bathroom where two people don't step over each other. The staff is very knowledgeable and very welcoming and friendly.

The Staff, the Property and the Atmosphere are superb. Unfortunately if you are a business user the WIFI is weak and not up to par with even airport WIFI. The Bentley house car is a nice feature and quite appreciated.

The Georgia is such a special hotel, I would highly recommend trying to stay here when you're visiting Vancouver. The rooms are nice and feel luxurious. The bathroom had one of the best showers I've ever been in. There was plenty of space for both my husband and me to get ready at the same time, which can be a...

Quite possibly THE best hotel I've ever visited, and I've stayed all over the world. The quality of suites, food, and wine was excellent and the personnel flawless. An immaculate gem in a beautiful city. Not to be missed.

We absolutely loved this hotel, it's most definitely one of the best we've stayed in. The bathroom was amazing, the best shower ever and a large bath too. Attention to detail in the room and bathroom were great. The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel is very well situated for seeing the sights. Admittedly we do enjoy walking but...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
