The location of this hotel is wonderful. The rooms have gorgeous views and it's walking distance to everything in town. The inn is charming and historic. However, the staff is quite disorganized. They messed up my reservation, so I had to move rooms midway through my stay. I was told I would receive a discount for the hassle. Come checkout...

Overpriced stay in Room 5. Not worth the extra money for the view. No night stand or reading light. Refrigerator is very noisy. The whole place smells of old cooking oil and is crammed with junk. Definitely would not stay there again.

we got referred go the place by the tourist office. The site is just gorgious and the house with its old bricks just unique and picturesque. We recommend the rooms upstairs facing the ocean. The balconeys are small but cosy. Watch incoming boats and the waterairplanes. The room (Nr.5) has wonderful windows and a great bathroom. The bed was new...

We stayed in a room with two single beds facing out on the town. There is a nice balcony, and we could leave the window open at night. It was great to have the fresh air. The floor was wood, and the walls in each room/alcove were different colors. Some of the windows were plate glass. The proprietress was friendly...

The Inn at Tough City has it's own unique style, arguably the best position in Tofino in terms of convenience and views, a fun and relaxed crew to look after you and a great little bar and sushi restaurant downstairs for convenience. This is the antithesis of large, bland, international chain hotels where all character and charm has been sucked...

I stayed at this hotel last weekend, brought my kids, we wanted a quiet get away and watch the Queen of the Peak surf competition. Was immediatly welcomed by the owner late Friday night. He gave my kids juice and helped carry our bags. We loved our room. Pretty view of the ocean and nice soaker tub. The kids loved...

I was excited to host a wedding event here, excited to try out the sushi and have some fun! We confirmed with the manager months in advance, and then within the month of the event and the week before the event, the owner cancelled our reservation! He said we will "not be spending enough money", and he will "make more...

I stayed in Room #5, which had a great bathroom and a balcony which overlooked the harbour/ocean. The room was very comfortable, with all the amenities (minifridge, micro, fast WiFi, flat screen tv, a very comfortable bed, fireplace stove, and an incredible view of the harbour. The innkeeper, Anna, was very friendly and hospitable. Check-in was smooth and fast, as...

A friend and I shared room no. 10, village view, twin beds. It was fine. The room included a fridge and coffee maker, with coffee bags (like tea bags) supplied. We had a little balcony overlooking the village. The bathroom was enormous with a large soaker tub, which I made grateful use of after a long day of walking the...

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a enthusiastic man in the lobby who was more than stoked to get us situated. He explained our awesome balcony, all in/out procedures and offered to assist with unpacking the car (which we were fine without, but it was a sweet feature considering the laid back nature assumed by the overall esthetics). Once we...
