It is an awesome getaway place at good price. The view of a valley, the ocean and the lights of Vancouver city is amazing from the hot tub. The place was very clean, cozy and private, and the breakfast exquisite. We had a great weekend there😄

After a two week stay at this B&B in August, I can only say it was very difficult to return to the city. This is a priceless getaway, as much from the friendly and caring attitude of our host, Jill, as the beautiful and tranquil setting. Jill provides delicious and fresh homemade breakfasts, with huge portions! We were in the...

My husband and I and my son and his fiancé spent a week at Hummingbird Hill B&B on Salt Spring Island B.C., July 18th to the 23rd. We had visited the island last June, and loved the island so much that we decided to return again this summer. We had the most wonderful vacation and our outstanding stay at Hummingbird...

I'll be frank - Hummingbird Hill B&B is my favourite place to stay on Salt Spring Island and I don't want to share it with you because that will mean that booking a room in the future will become that much harder for me. So I won't tell you that it is an amazing place with gorgeous gardens, a tranquil...

Every year since 2010, my friends and I have treated ourselves to a weekend getaway at Jill's bed and breakfast. She's the sweetest hostess, a gentle soul, and has some adorable canine companions whose distinctive personalities add to the enjoyable experience. It is a 5 star experience because she does her best (and succeeds) at creating a perfect setting. Her...

A great get-away to avoid the bustle and noise, with an amazing view from the top of Salt Spring Island overlooking Washington and Mount Baker to the south and over to Vancouver and Garabaldi to the east. The Japanese tea room is a great place for tranquil reflection. Ask about the inn-keeper's famous crab cakes! A pet friendly environment and...

Thank you to Jill and her 4 legged helpers for making us feel so at home this weekend. We are now addicted to Jills granola and dreaming of the light and fluffy French toast. The 2 bed suite was perfect for us, our dog and friend as we explored the island. Super clean and with everything we needed in place,...

A nice property overlooking the water in the distance. You can see Vancouver in the far distance. Jill keeps beautiful gardens and you could sit in the very private hot top overlooking the view. It's a 20 minute drive to Ganges but very convenient to Fulford Harbour if you are going to Victoria. The tea house is one of the...

The bed & breakfast is set in a stunning location; unfortunately, the host-Jill- did not make the experience at her place a truly enjoyable one. Before arriving she promised to have the hot-tub ready and said that we were free to arrive any time Friday because the room will be ready for us. Upon our arrival at 11:00 am, she...

“The Japanese tea house is small but charming and has an amazing view of the valley and the ocean. It's very private and quiet. If you wake easily when the sun comes up, book the smaller bedroom. It's darker and you can sleep in longer during the long summer days.”
