The Inn is very close to the ferry landing and when one arrives at midnight a short ride by taxi to your bed is heaven sent. That said the hotel is quite basic and tired but with a stay of just over 6 hours as we had the next ferry to catch at 8am the lack of niceties is not...

This is a tired old hotel.I should have realised what I was getting into when I saw the lobby which was old and smelly. I stayed here because it was the closest hotel to the ferry and for a charge would store my vehicle whilst I went over to the Queen Charlotte Islands for the day (although I later found...

A step up from the motels along the highway. Clean, quiet, and friendly service. There are better places to stay in Prince Rupert but you will have to pay for it. Good value a the Anchor Inn and I would recommend it without hesitation. Rooms are large, I stayed in a single kitchenette, which had full sized kitchen. Would be...

Not too many hotels in Prince Rupert and no major chains. This was an old hotel that has been refurbished. Clean and practically furnished. Our room had a new full size refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Small TV by todays standards. Not fancy, but serviceable.Only complaint - website said we could get a roll away bed and that was not true.

Even after reading the reviews, I wanted to give this place a try as I didn't want to stay right down town as I find it too noisy. I was very impressed by the friendly atmosphere, the room was very clean & quiet. I was told that they had just completed renovations on the rooms. I love the non carpet...

We stayed at the Anchor Inn, on Victoria Day weekend, 2014. It was the only place we could find in PR that took a large dog. We were very pleased with the accommodation. Our room had been renovated with nice tile suitable for people and dogs who like the outdoors. The room, including the bathroom, was very clean. We were...

My wife and I stayed here on Sunday 27//04/2014 and Monday .We were given a good welcome by the proprietors ,the room we occupied was clean with a kitchenette with all the essentials. Bathroom was clean as well,it is quite obvious that times have been tough in Prince Rupert but if you want a basic ,clean room reasonably priced you...

Worst place I stayed while on vacation in Canada for two weeks. Desk clerk was unfriendly. The room was horrible. Room smelled so stale and dirty I had to keep the window open all night. Carpet was badly stained and there were large cigarette burns everywhere. Supposedly I was in a non-smoking room, apparently it had recently been converted. I...

The lobby smelled like cat urine and the carpet in the room was so filthy, slippers or shoes were required at all times. Fortunately we were there for only six hours. On the way back we stayed at a nicer, much nicer place that wasn't all that farther from the ferry and was even cheaper.

We stayed at this hotel as the place to be before getting on the ferry. It is close to the ferries and not far from downtown either. So it's location is convenient. The restaurant is still closed. The room was very clean as was the bathroom, the hallways and the lobby. And if the room had been $80 it would...
