When I was still living in PG, my husband and I would stay at the Coast Inn once or twice a year for a nice 'staycation'. Now that I'm living out of town, the Coast is my preferred hotel when I'm in PG for business. The staff is amazing, and the rooms are immaculate, comfortable,

The noise needs to be kept down in the hallways between 1am to 4am. Had to sleep was very tired in the morning. More security for monitoring the hallways in thr early morning for noise levels and partying. Room key to control elevators. Clean room that was good. Front desk person

Great restaurant and pub. Parking is ok. It is downtown PG but good access to the highways. Great if you are in for the conference center as it is across the street. Room was nice and they have the best soaps of any hotel chain I stay at. The wifi is even good enough to do work w

Very clean, comfortable hotel for a reasonable price. Staff were friendly and helpful and room service was very prompt enabling me to get my work day started on time. I would recommend this hotel if you are travelling to the north for work.

Is the tub in the junior suite a 2 person tub?
Yes, the tub would be a cosy intimate experience for two.

Where do you guys get your body wash and shampoos? I really enjoyed using the products when I was there last year. It was rosemary and thyme something. Loved them very much
I am so glad to hear you enjoy them. We purchase them through a hotel supplier but do have them available for sale at the front desk. We can also help and have them shipped to you as well.

What time is check in and Can we check in earlier
Check in time is normally 4 PM, most days we are able to get guests in earlier who get to PG on earlier flights. It honestly depends on our ability to get rooms cleaned from the previous night. We can always take and store your luggage and honestly if you call the desk directly and let them know your needs they will do what ever is possible to make it work for you.

My mother and I stayed here for for three nights in December 2014, for a family funeral. The beds were the most comfortable ones we have ever slept in, leading to a full night's sleep every night for both of us. This is notable, because my mother has back problems and even in her own bed has difficulty sleeping through the night. My mother is now looking to replace her mattress and we would be really grateful if you could tell us what type of mattresses you had at the time, or, if that information is not available, what type of mattress you are using in your rooms now. Many thanks for the excellent stay, and the very comfortable beds/room.
Coast uses Simmons as a mattress partner and Simmons is available at most stores. Our bed is a single side pillow top that is unique to the coast brand, however the difference between ours and the Simmons Pillow top I saw at sleep country is very similar. The last time we ordered mattresses for the guest rooms I purchased one for myself, so I do agree they are very comfortable. I know as a brand we are working towards a plan to get mattresses and Sheet's on line so guests can order directly. We are just not there yet. If you encounter any challenges in finding a mattress to purchase, reach out and I'll go to a couple of retailers for you and find a alternative. Dave

Do you have shuttle to/from train station?
I am sorry, we do not have a shuttle. The train station is a pretty short walk, or cab ride. I walk over to the PG Tourism office which is in the same building every week, its about 6 blocks I think.
