A nice little hotel in down town New West. I think this place dates back to the 1890's so lots of character. Well done upgrades, great price, and at the center of everything. The river walk/park is just across the street past the parking lot, and the Sky train next door. That might be a problem for light sleepers so...

Great time in Vancouver, stayed at the Met Hotel, which had great old charm feel. Staff were always very helpful and skytrain (which is awesome) was right there. We had to leave a day early and the Hotel was kind enough to give us the one night charge back even though we did not ask for it. Great water view...

Room was awesome, great views, river front. Walking on the board walk..Shopping, dinner and many cool stores to look in... Great craftsman and boutique shops... Army and Navy store on the main street... Outside patio, great food and prices.... Pull tabs, won a hundred dollars there.... Will be back for sure.

I stayed at the Met for 2 nights on business. It's an old property, so rooms are a bit small and there are few AC outlets. I used the extension cord for the coffee maker to plug in my laptop at the desk. Sound dampening is so-so, and noisy neighbours were audible. Location is right next to the Columbia Skytrain...

We were in Vancouver to see a hockey game and didn't want to spend a lot of money on accommodation when we would be in the room so little. With the sky train station a few doors away, the met was a great location (especially carrying sleeping kids home from the train). Great price and good location, don't expect anything...

Check in was good, Room was clean, and included a microwave and fridge, bed was comfortable. Was a little noisy in the front of building as the pub is nearby, but it was quiet later on. Hotel is beside the sky train station as well.

The entrance looks a bit shady, but once you get to the room its actually really nice! I was surprised to say the least. It works out to less than $80 CAD a night, which is pretty decent, and you can usually find an available room within the hour. Parking is a little tricky in the area, but if you're...

My room wasnt cleaned propperly, and made me ill, The staff yelled at me because of his own problems. When I asked to speek with Management, he refused. The front desk clerk could add nor subtract, he over charged me, & messed up my account completely. They ripped me off, refused to make contact with Hotel manager to verify his...

The Met Hotel management finds this a difficult review to respond to. We provided the guest every courtesy and acted in a professional manner for the guest's entire 24 night stay. As far as we are concerned everything that could possibly be done to ensure a pleasant stay was provided from our staff. Regards, The Met Hotel

Very comfortable and pleasant accommodations for the (low) price. Good service, helpful staff, clean and well-appointed rooms. Best of all, you can bring your dogs along! (For a modest additional fee.) To a New Westminster newcomer the area around the entrance looks a little seedy, but in fact we never even got panhandled, much less hassled. There is a refrigerator...

Dear Mr. Brewer Thank you for the nice review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that your 4 legged friend also enjoyed their stay. As you mentioned we do have parking across the street but it is not included in the price but is an additional $10 per night. Our location is very central and...

We stayed here for work and we were on a tight budget, so it worked well for us. Rooms had nice high ceilings, and were nice and clean, but backed onto a skytrain station and were a bit loud until it stopped running for the night. The neighborhood is a bit rough at night, we were there on a Sat...
