The people are nice that work there but the rooms are slightly dated (although clean) and there are minimal amenities available. As long as you are OK with that, then this is a decent hotel to stay in. A nice feature is its proximity to the promenade where you can go for a beautiful jog along the shoreline.

Was here for 1 night stay for business and chose to stay here for walking distance from Harbour Air port. Wasn't sure what to expect as the the hotel looks a bit dated from the exterior. But we were very pleasantly surprised! The rooms were updated and clean and the bed and pillows were very supportive. We received excellent food...

We had 3 night whilst visiting for family gathering. Like a normal hotel but seemed some that were employed there seemed stressed and stuffy. It would of been nice to have been more fun friendly place. It was more business type. I suppose one on business would like this place. I did not feel it was suited to families.

Jack and Anita went out of their way to help me with my reservation. They were warm friendly and welcoming. They knew my first name from my last business trip. Ian was also pleasant when I arrived back after dinner. They take the time to make you know your stay with them is important.

I recently stayed for only 1 night on a weekend fishing trip on the island. We were heading out early the next morning from Ladysmith and, due to ferry schedules, had to spend the night before in Nanaimo. The hotel was very easy to find with a small 15min parking area right in front of their doors as expected for...

Quick trip to Nanaimo for some business. This property has an ideal, central location and is very accommodating. Very friendly and helpful staff and the service in the restaurant was excellent and prompt and the food was delicious. We splurged on the Jacuzzi unit and, combined with the excellent service, this really helped ease the stress of the trip. I...

This is a good hotel that is showing its age. Its lack of any secure internet option is also a problem. Friendly staff make it a solid choice however. The gym is adequate but a bit of an after thought- older machines and only one treadmill to choose from.

I enjoyed a one-night stay at this downtown waterfront hotel before catching the ferry back to the mainland. My seventh-floor room came equipped with everything you’d expect from a hotel of this standard: two large beds, decent TV, safe, coffee-maker, free wi-fi (no problems connecting) and an ironing board and iron. The partial view of the harbour stretching away to...

You pull up to the hotel on a busy downtown street with temporary parking for 2 cars. I had to circle the block twice before I could stop to check in. They gave me a parking pass for an underground parking lot a block away. My truck has too high to go into it. Try and back up on a...

Dear Ryan W, I am sorry that you felt ripped off. You are right if you're vehicle cannot fit in the parking lot it has to go to the outdoor lot. I wish there was something else we can do for your truck. Also not sure which parking lot you may have gone to, the parking lot we use for...
