Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I chose Hillcrest Farm BnB to be close to Black Mountain where our daughter lives. We were very comfortable in our spacious room with a gas fireplace. We had the Cherry room which was nicely decorated, bright, and had a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious. We especially appreciated how the owner, Barb, went out of her way to accommodate us. We recommend staying here and will definitely return. (Oh, and make sure to try the cherry jam, delicious! 😉)

I had the most amazing time at my short stay here. From the moment I walked in, I was in love with the market and cafe which sold freshly made bakery items and local crafts. My room was very spacious and lovely, and was more than comfortable for 2 people. The food was very very excellent, absolutely no complaints there. Sometimes I did have to wait a bit to checkout at the counter when I wanted to buy/order something, but given that this is a small family business, I was more than willing to be patient. I cannot recommend this location enough!!

We came late but the hosts came out to welcome us to the B&B. We picked up snacks in the bakery and went up to the enormous room. Very well done and comfortable. Breakfast was available anytime, and you could add any extras you wanted. The hosts were kind and thoughtful. Thank you!

The rooms are very spacious, clean and restful. No elevator as stairs access to the rooms. A beautiful view of the community. We appreciated the personal service breakfast and were deeply impressed by the family who owns the farm. We will return.

When looking for a clean economically priced place to stay in Kelowna this place popped up. My husbands, not a B&B kind of guy, was pleasantly surprised. When talking to the owner about check in and supper he was very helpful and accommodating. The room was so roomy, comfortable, clean, and luxurious. Even has a huge private balcony. Totally impressed and staying here was a best surprise in a long time. Can’t wait to see what breakfast brings.

A little outside of kelowna, this Indian family run bnb was the perfect location to stop while we were traveling from banff to Vancouver. The rooms are very spacious , and they all have a beautiful view of kelowna and the lake. The bnb is in the middle of cherries and other fruits fields and therefore the whole philosophy of the place is “farm to table cousin”. It is really worth it to eat grandma’s food . We really appreciated the sense of family that the place gives you that made us feel at home and made us decide to stop there one more night. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED

This B & B was a fantastic home base for our 3 day visit to Kelowna. The room was modern and spacious, and the balcony has a great view. As everyone stated the breakfast is very very good and a terrific start to each day.

The food is always very good here but today we had to wait at least 20 minutes for 2 bowls of soup. In addition, my husband bought a scone which was served about 10 minutes later with no butter, napkin or cutlery. Our soup came with no soup spoons and the only spoons available were coffee spoons by the cream for coffee area. I had asked for a bit of butter for the little pice of naan that comes with the soup and none came. Refills for coffee are expensive, and should really be free, especially with a meal. All in all, a frustrating experience- better service is needed with a few more things put into place.

During a drive from Vancouver to Jasper, we stopped for an overnight stay in Kelowna. When approaching the town, we were a bit disheartened since we had been driving through so much beautiful country and were now in a sprawl with chain stores but we continued on to our B&B and were thrilled to find that it was up on a hill with a nice vista and literally above it all. Once we got settled, we were very pleased with the room (we were in the plum room). Everything about the layout was so well thought out — a vanity with good lighting and outlets outside of the bath, a wonderful tub and separate shower, good lighting where you wanted it and outlets, as well as a large deck, refrigerator, great linens, etc. really comfortable and thoughtful accommodations. One thing, the bed is super tall so while nice for seeing the view it could be challenging if you have a mobility issue. To top it all off there’s great food downstairs and the breakfast that came with our room was delicious and generous. The farm / store / B&B is run by a lovely family who were very hospitable to us. If you’re stopping in the area, this would be great choice and would be very comfortable for a longer stay. Highly recommend!
