We wished we would’ve came last year. What a great place that’s close to the beach, amenities etc. We love this campground. A big shout-out to both the Hosts - Steve and Steve, you guys are great! Thank you for keeping us safe and content. Your hard work and smiles do not go unnoticed.
Not a place for kids as there is well known drug dealers staying in the campground. And the daytime manager is a hot head. Dirty place to stay with alot of homeless and drug dealers and nothing is done about this. Cops showed up a couple times. Left because of drugs and had to fight to get my money back with a bully of a manager. THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BOOK HERE.
This was right out of an episode of the Tiger King. Booked 3 nights thinking great location in Kelowna. could not leave fast enough on second day. 50% full of homeless people in tents and old campers / trailers who have been there a while. Garbage and disheveled looking sites covered with junk and debris. Full time campers in RV beside us were partying when we arrived at 11am and stayed up until 630 am the following morning partying- drinking and drugs all night long. 4-8 people at all times coming and going with multiple cars. I am sure they were dealing drugs from this site with the cars and pedestrian traffic. At one point a 75 year old man emerged from RV in his underwear talking crazy in some foreign language. Turns out this camp site is full time rental site of friends of gay boyfriend (30 year old)of campsite manager / owner (65 year old) ??? Crazy right out of Tiger King. All we could smell for 2 days was weed combined with all day / night drinking and who knows what else?? Two large dogs owned by gay boyfriend allowed to roam free in campsite and wondered into our site. Seemed friendly but they were large pit bulls or staffy breeds and could be very frighting to some people. Regardless large signs in campsite that say All Dogs Must be on leash! Apparently rules do not apply to the managers boyfriend?? I cannot stress enough how bad this campground was for us and would be for family with children. Do not go here until they have new management and clean this place up.…
Stayed at willow Creek for 5 days. Made a reservation for two side by side campsite, several weeks in advance but the reservation was not keep. Had to use two campsites in two different areas of the campground. Showers were dirty and toilets were regularly plugged up. Our RV was put in with the tents, lots of loud music and people. The only good part of this rv site was it's location, great location for groceries, liquor store, etc
We have stayed there for 2 nights. The owner yelled at us when we went to chek in. After the first night he foolishly gave our campsite to another guest. Only after we asked him, why there was someone else in our spot, he remebered tha this site actually belonged to us. Filfthy bathroom and the campground is overcrouded. You don't have your peace. Won't recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We stayed there 2 nights (were supposed to stay 3 but shortened it, would not recommend this campground for families. The location is ok but the atmosphere in the campground didn’t feel really family-friendly... some long-term residents have really creepy decor around, the sites are too close to each other, no privacy, people shouting at each other, lots of trash laying around, bathrooms were not necessarily clean... not a place you want to spend your holiday evenings at.
Clean campground, clean bathrooms, 2 minutes walk from the beach, 2 minutes walk from the grocery store and restaurants. Everything about this camping was perfect. Of course it’s not luxurious but it’s very nice.
The location and price of this campground can not be beat. The manager was friendly and helpful. It was clean enough and felt safe, but it is not the place for a quiet getaway! Take earplugs unless you want to hear all of your neighbours conversations at night, you will be a few feet away from them.
Good energy for most part. Camping area is pretty primitive but rv sites are fine. Bathrooms are clean and pay showers are clean as well. Walking distance to grocery stores. Close to hospital. Pets allowed. Cheap but good eats right across street. Ideal location if you’re rving and don’t have a vehicle. Drug store that has groceries etc right across the way. Beach also across street. Occasionally there’s the odd loud camper but the manager is quick to deal with problems. He’s crusty but he’s okay. Quite liked him.
Needed a place to put my trailer ASAP. Drove in and talk to the campsite host who gave me a spot and took my money and didn't ask me a single question.... nice smooth sailing... no stupid questions about the size of my dog.
