Nestled in the Gorgeous Mission region of Kelowna, the Boyce Gyro Beach Bed and Breakfast offers room rentals as well as serves as a perfect home vacation rental. With a large contemporary artistic space that is perfect for larger groups, families and friends that are getting together or business and sporting groups; this bed and breakfast is centrally located for you to enjoy the best that Kelowna has to offer.

We are one of the top choice's for Bridal parties because we have done so many. We are great at providing family retreats because of the amount of open space in the home. Ski groups love us because they want to stay in the action in the city instead of being stuck 60 minutes away on the mountain when it is foggy mid afternoon and with little do to at night. We also have many individual rooms to rent and a casual open dining space which is great in the morning. Settle into the fantastic living room and head out to the hot tub to warm yourself in these fall and winter temperatures.

Well known for the best beach in Kelowna for sun seekers, Gyro beach; the summer is one of the best times to visit.

We are a Year round operation though and you can enjoy the casual shopping, fine and casual dining on picturesque Pandosy Street. We understand the luster of downtown which is only minutes away, but it is nice to retreat to a more relaxed pace at our location. We are conveniently located near the H2O Aqua Complex and YMCA, CNC Arena & Sports-fields, golf courses, Hospital, wineries, Kelowna Colleges and fruit stands.

Driving distance to Big White, Crystal Mountain, Silver Star Resorts..Hey, why stay at a mountain when you can enjoy the city life through the evening and just head up to the mountain in the morning? .Just a 15 minute drive from Kelowna International Airport and UBC.

My friends and I stayed for couple nights in August 2019. Laurinda and Darren went above and beyond for us. Picked us up at the Airport and drove us where we needed to go and were very welcoming and friendly and fantastic hosts. They gave us several recommendations on what to do in Kelowna as we didn't know the area. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy. We very much enjoyed staying there. We already can't wait to come back again we had a fantastic time.

Larinda and Darren are great hosts, very welcoming and fun to be with. Our room was perfect - comfy bed and very good shower. Breakfast was a treat. And delicious! The location is awesome - close to downtown and a great jumpoff for the many parks, beaches and wineries in the area.

My family and I rented the entire house for a week in July 2018, and he stay was great! We were a large group, the biggest they ever had I believe. We were 23 in total, with 9 adults and 14 kids (ages 2-18). Laurinda and Darren were excellent hosts. We booked the house directly through them, and they very graciously allowed our large group. They even let us pitch a tent in the back yard so that the teenage girls had their own "space". Laurinda and Darren were great. If we needed anything it was just a quick text and they responded right away. It is true that they stay in the house, but they have their own space and kept to themselves, so it did not feel intrusive. They came and went while we were there, (through their own entrance) but we hardly noticed. They were very accommodating for our large group, and offered suggestions for outings, etc. There are some rules of the property, such as keeping quiet outside at night (for the neighbors), and no hot tub use after 8:00 pm. We did not find these rules unreasonable. The house is well kept, and nicely decorated. Each adult couple got their own room, and two of the rooms were large enough for the little ones to stay with their parents. The rest of the kids all stayed in the third floor, with all the beds. It was like a giant slumber party for them! The weather was very hot the week we stayed, there was a small glitch with the AC one day, but Darren went out and got extra fans, which was appreciated, and the AC was back up quickly. The kitchen is well appointed; it had everything we needed to cook for our large group. Darren and Laurinda also offered the use of their laundry for us. The yard and garden are beautiful, and very well kept. Darren was out every day tidying up the leaves and branches, and keeping the yard clear of leaves and tree debris for us. The front yard is also gated, so when we were outside we could close the gate, and didn’t have to worry about the kids and the busy road. The beach is not directly across the road like I thought it would be, but it is very close. We crossed the road, walked past two houses and we were at Boyce Gyro Beach. The only drawback is that the road is a very busy road. We really liked that end of the beach. It is down a bit from where the playground is, so it was much less busy, we pretty much had that whole end to ourselves the whole week, which was great for our large group. Overall a very nice place to stay, with accommodating and gracious hosts. Thanks Laurinda and Darren!

Laurinda and Darren were the best hosts for our group of 9 ladies celebrating a bachelorette party! They had endless recommendations and were very accommodating to our every request! The house is spectacular, bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable, plenty of kitchen supplies and the yard is absolutely immaculate! Highly recommend staying here!

Very strict rules and the owners are around all the time. We could hear the owners tv very loud in our room. No options for breakfast if you have allergies. The beach is a much farther walk then what it says.

Thank you for your reply, a bit confused over your comment. Gyro Beach is right across the street, however there is approximately a 4 minute walk to Rotary beach. I assume the longer walk was Rotary you went to? We always ask people if they have allergies for we are aware of allergies with celiac in the house. You joined us with our other guests outside celebrating Canada Day with wine. You asking for Burbin or whiskey. Not sure if you understand what BB is - it is a home that owners open to visitors to embrace true community and give guests a personal intimate touch of relaxation and a good hardy breakfast which we are know for. You ask before going to bed if you could have breakfast at 8am, which I prepared for you and your girl friend, she came down apologizing that you were not there and that you don't do mornings well. You came down at approx. 9:30am, stated you didn't want breakfast, how much do I ow you, paid and left. Other guests where shock, your girl friend coming back apologizing for you, you mention nothing about TV being loud, which was not ours for we went right to bed after last guests retired to there room. However the guests on top floor could have had there tv on. Suggestion that maybe going to a BB is not for you, for owner being there for the guests is what they do, we are not a hotel or motel. Have a great trip to the United States we where happy to help you find cheaper accommodation in the Bay Area of San Francisco.
