I turned up late, without a reservation. Everyone was very accommodating. It was very clean and Covid safe. They had a nice packed breakfast for you in the morning. My room was lovely, it was just a shame I couldn’t stay longer. Would definitely return!

The location of the hotel is fantastic and the view from our window (of the mountains) was very nice. The beds were extremely comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and to top it off, great price! Highly recommended this hotel - value for money.

The team at The Royal Anne are super friendly and very accommodating on requests. The location is great as you are within walking distance from eateries, shops, the waterfront and even Knox mountain park. We enjoyed a good night's sleep with black out curtains and a very comfy bed. The room is very clean and complimentary breakfast was served in a to-go bag. We had a decent view of the lake and mountain. The complimentary parking is a great added value but there is limited space. I would however recommend that when checking in that the parking bays in front of hotel are reserved for check-in guests, as the actual parking garage is located around the block. Or possibly communicate to guests where to park ahead of check-in. Then the lobby area is a cramped space, and there was a large group checking-in on the same evening we did, this resulted in us standing too close to each other. I would also recommend that the hotel consider a renovation in the near future as the lamps, bathroom fixtures, curtains, furniture and burgundy colour scheme is a bit dated. Overall it is a great value for money stay that offers everything you would need for a good night's rest in Kelowna!

Good day Petite-Bouffant, Thank you very much for being our guest in November, and for taking time out to post your very thorough review. As many guests book reservations online these days , you're right, parking options are only briefly outlined in our property description. We have little choice about our property descriptions & the amount of information we can provide, unfortunately. With that said however, often times guests will call us direct as they're pulling into town, to review check-in & parking procedures. We're happy to provide the information & do whatever we can to ease the process of your check-in. In regards to your observations about the hotel (guest rooms) needing a renovation, please note that our guest rooms have all been completely renovated over the past 3 years. Due to the age & history of the hotel, we chose a classic, rather than contemporary or very modern decor. The 'burgundy' color scheme you've pointed out, is actually only about 2 years old. and the champagne black-out drapery...maybe 3 years old. Guest room furniture....5 years old. Bathroom fixtures are slightly older but certainly less than 10 years old. As a side note, our lower lobby area is a compact area as you've pointed out....but there is another level to the lobby, where guests can easily meander for a few moments to avoid any congestion during check-in or check-out processes. Overall, that you found great value for the money spent & enjoyed a good night's sleep, is truly the most important thing. Stay well & happy New Year to you! We just returned from Kelowna and stayed at the Royal Anne Hotel. This is the second time we have stayed there and again it didn't disappoint. Since Covid this is our first time away and we were unsure about how things would be. The staff at the Royal Anne were great at explaining how things would work. We felt perfectly safe there and were glad they were taking Covid seriously. In the past we have enjoyed their great breakfast but since Covid they couldn't do a buffet but instead they offered us "breakfast in a bag". It contained a homemade muffin (which was super yummy), fruit, yogurt, granola bar and hardboiled egg if you wanted. You could take the breakfast with you to your room or eat it in the hotel breakfast room. Everything was clearly marked out where you could eat so you felt safe. Our room was on the 5th floor and it was fabulous. So spacious, neat and quiet. A nice view of Bernard street and beyond. We love the location as it is right downtown so you can walk to the water and so many choices of places to eat. They have underground parking which is perfectly safe and so you don't need to worry about your vehicle. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The robe in the room was amazing (I just wish I could buy one as it was so soft and comfy). On this trip we brought our friends with us and it was their first stay here. They were very impressed with the hotel. We look forward to returning again! A big thanks to the staff at this wonderful hotel.

This hotel is reasonably priced, especially given the location. Free parking, free "breakfast". I don't know if this is widespread across Canada, but many hotels in BC don't offer daily housekeeping services anymore. They claim that it's due to COVID but that's just a BS smoke screen to allow them to save money. As usual, it's the people at the lower end of the economic scale that get screwed. The lady at the front desk said that the hotel is "very busy" these days so it's not a lack of business that is causing this lack of service. Show some class and leadership and support the little people in the community!
