We had a spot reserved for a friend and ourselves. When we got there there was only one spot left. There was no one on site to help. After an hour we left and headed back to Penticton where we were originally. When we finally got a hold of someone, after two day they promised our money back. That took 5 days to get back with phone calls and my sister going to their door twice. They are dishonest and just want money. This place is not what it looks like in the pictures and definitely not worth it!! It is terrible and thier customer service is even worse.
Nice little 10 site campground right in the city of Kelowna. Hard to find a spot this quiet and private and still this close to Kelowna beaches, shopping and restaurants. Each pull through has full hook ups plus a propane fire pit. Grass and gravel at each site was great. The surrounding area is a working farm on one side and trees and a creek on the other. Showers and bathrooms were convenient although not well cleaned. Wifi wasn’t always accessible. The cost was steep but we thought it was worth it considering everything. We would stay again.
This was a very nice full serviced and level spot. They also provide a gas campfire; you provide the gas. It was quiet yet just a little off KLO road which is a main artery. The location is central to all but west Kelowna. We loved it and will probably stay here again next year. Daniel, the manager, was awesome
We set off for our first ever RV trip across the country due to the COVID pandemic. The sites here are well maintained and laid out. The facility is right beside the Kelowna Greenway, which is fantastic far walking, running or biking. It is quiet at night. The washrooms are spacious and modern. The showers could have been a bit cleaner, but this was not a major issue. Best of the trip so far!
The campingground is very clean.every spot has his own propane firepit.the owner is very friendly. If you want you can buy fresh eggs(18 eggs 5 cad).this farm is a chicken farm, everywhere on their property are chicken in cages. Chickens are for sale(Frozen).we bought 2 frozen chicken and 1 package (6 drumsticks) and paid 64 cad. For me a fair price...support local!!! Thanks, for our great vacation! Steffen,Mia Mackenzie and Dana
These people are very dishonest. Was promised a camping spot with power , water and a picnic table. Told them I would be arriving late and was given Tyler's cell number and told he would meet me when I arrived. We arrived at about 9pm and no one was there and Tyler never answered the multiple phone or messages we sent. Start looking around and found the beekeeper, he showed me were Tyler lived. Banged on the door and was ready to leave when a lady opened a door above the barn and told me Tyler was upstairs. By this time a half hour had passed. Tyler took me to the edge of the RV parking were there was a patch of grass and said this is your spot. No water, power or table. He told me he could run an extension cord for power and told there was no table or water as promised. We thought about it for awhile and told him we would be passing as it was not what was promised. He then argued with me and said none of those things were promised. I would never have booked it without those amenities. When I got my Visa billed they charged me $54. I called the manager and he told it was a nonrefundable first night rent. Even though they didn't deliver on the agreement. Have texts and email to support my claims. Poor service, dishonesty and arguments is all your get at Urban Farms. There are way better places in Kelowna.…
My complaint is that the management would not return my deposit since I had to cancel because of CORVID 19 pandemic. I had booked a site for my relatives from England and due to travel restrictions they were not able to come. Management showed no empathy. I cancelled bookings with other RV parks in the Okanagan. They returned my deposit without hesitation and expressed surprise that Kelowna Urban Farm and RV Park would not.
We were looking for an RV park that was central and this location is perfect, 8 -10 minutes to everything! Also, was pleasantly surprised that we were right on the Mission Greenway, so glad we brought our bikes as it is a wonderful biking or walking trail right along the Mission Creek. Also didn't realize it was next to a golf course, so wish had brought our clubs! It isn't really a farm, there are chickens (and lots of them) but no other animals. The sites themselves are awesome, full hookups and perfect for larger trailers or motor homes. The downside were the bathroom facilities, we didn't really need to use them but noted when doing laundry (a plus for a longer trip to have laundry!) was that the shower stalls could be way cleaner and the toilets far cleaner! They were obviously fairly recent additions so look great but not cleaned regularly. As well, checkin in was fine for us, but we noticed some people waiting quite some time for the caretaker to come back to site to check them in. Perhaps it could be explained at time of booking that the caretaker is not on site at all times so that arrangements can be made in advance as to what site to pull into. In fact, thinking back, we were not provided any kind of formal confirmation upon booking, this might be a way to avoid weary, impatient travelers trying to check in! Free wifi was definitely a plus for the kids!…
This is an excellent location, but unfortunately it is spoiled because staff have no idea of how to run this resort, even had to ask to get the overflowing trash can emptied from the only open washroom, staff responce when asked was, nobody told us!
My wife and I are travelling across the country in a RV and like to bike most places once set up. We arrived a day early and our host could not have been more accommodating. Great location close to downtown and the beaches by bike and the grounds are well kept. Excellent bike trail runs just outside park.
