Nice RV Park surrounded by apple and cherry trees. Very clean restrooms and most important an extreme friendly and helpful staff. Donna and her dutch husband made us feel welcome. I definitely recommend this RV park. Greetings from the belgian family!
The location was perfect easy to find and pull in to. The staff are so accommodating and helpful. We can’t say enough good things about it . We had gone to another site after leaving this one and it was not even comparable. I would recommend to book early if possible.
Apple Valley Orchard & RV Park is such an awesome location, out in the country, but so close to Kelowna. The managing couple is so welcoming and accommodating, making every effort to make our stay enjoyable. The grounds are beautiful, and continuously being maintained and improved. We've stayed in all areas of the Park with our 28 ft trailer, and had no issues with parking. Highly recommend.
The stay was excellent. We have a little dog and was very dog friendly. The managers ere excellent and very helpful. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and private. The resort itself was very clean and full of flowers and apple trees would have loved to stayed and see them all bloom. Very close to everything in Kelowna and not far from Lake Country.
Our experience there was very positive. Reasonably priced, clean bath/showers. Laundry available but only one wash and one dryer machine. We were up the hill in the orchard, tight fit backing in my 28' trailer. Owners were very personable. Apples were ripe and were quite edible. Full 30 amp hookup, but spotty wi-fi. New owners are working hard to update and improve.
Nice orchard setting but sites are really small with no privacy. Called ahead and we were told we did not need to make a reservation. Greeted by employees not wearing a mask which was a big concern! Local fires caused smoke issues. No water pressure at this park. Nice part was we were offered a discount if we paid $50 cash!
We were there in May and had a great time. Managers at the time were very helpful and so funnY! Maintenance man was recovering from accident with parks irrigation but he hooked up our water. We wanted to note that the managers wore masks in May but new managers did not wear any masks. Latest visit in Aug was horrible. We expected to see fruit but trees were in bad shape. Fruit had bug issues. Loud tractor, dogs barking and the smell septic . I think this park goes through a lot of managers due to poor ownership.
We booked a spot at the Apple Orchard RV Park back in April. We picked this place based on other reviews and the pictures on the website, however, when we arrived we were put in Lot D. It was horrible!! The pictures you see on the website are of the first row only! It is such false advertising. The lot we got was up on a hill, no level on the slightest and had no trees or grass. I could have put up with all of that until I saw that the neighbouring sites septic hookup was maybe 4 feet from our trailer and right by the picnic table, it was disgusting. I talked to the owner/manager and she was adamant that all the other spots were spoken for except Lot E (however, she didn’t seem to know that it was also occupied by another family). Other than that, she was no help and didn’t seem to care about our concerns. After talking to my husband we decided to move on to another campground and sought a refund, even a partial refund since we felt mislead by her website. She was also not helpful in this regard, last time I checked when you buy something you are not happy with you can return it. Either way, it should tell you something that were willing to take a loss on our 3 night stay just to have not stay there. Book somewhere else, this place is not worth it. I wish I had taken some pictures of how awful it was but I was so upset with how she treated us that I didn’t think of it.…
We arrived late in the day unannounced, with few options and Suzanne set us up, was exceedingly kind and helpful. The location and the RV Park itself is on a high plateau and refreshing. Best sleep of our trip.
The owners of the camoground are soo kind and helpful! They gave us great tips for Kelowna and our trip through Westcanada! The campground is in a really quite area and has beautiful surroundings! The city center is just a 10 min bus ride away! Thanks to the owner!
