Booked online through Trip Advisor which jumps to Booking.com. If I wanted to use Booking.com I would go there directly. Traveling with 2 adults and 2 children however be aware that room pricing increases depending on age of children which is an absolute scam as it is still the same amount of people in a room. Initial price was 109...

Firstly on a positive note, the bed was very comfortable which was a pleasant surprise and reception staff were friendly enough. Unfortunately the layout of the room needs improving as it's very difficult to get suitcases past the bed into available space to unpack and access. Walls, floors etc. are paper thin so can hear all neighbors. Parking is a...

Decided to spend Christmas in Jasper. We have been there many times over the summer and fall (at least once a year) but never at Christmas. We didn't leave unhappy. The hotel was clean and spacious and in a convenient location. The staff were very helpful and we had had no issues when we changed our main reservation and added...

There is one star, simply, because u need to rate it. I rate the tonquin inn, zero stars! If u wanted the toilet to flush... u have to fix it first, or just repeatedly stick ur hand in the tank, fish out the chain, and put it back on the lever. It's December 16, temp was -30... couldn't figure out...

Was a very nice, clean hotel. Fit 6 of us in it. Had 2 beds (1 King, 1 Queen) and a pull out couch that turned into a bed. The staff was very polite to us. One employee showed us the room before we booked the room. We had a kitchen in it. They were very comfortable beds, (even the...

The price was great, room very clean. We actually got upgraded for no extra charge for two nights! Food was great, walking distance to everything! The hot tubs outside were nice especially since we were the only ones in them! We would definitely go back again!

Had to stay here one night as we had booked ahead without knowing how crappy this place was and we got in late and were very tired. The room had a foul smell soon as we walked in the door. Went into the bathroom to take a shower and there was black coloured mould beside the tub from the shower...

Very comfortable and convenient, close enough to town to be able to walk in comfort in 10mins. Staff very helpful, required a kettle and an early morning taxi, both attended to, no trouble at all. For us probably the highlight was witnessing a herd of elk walking the streets during a meal in a restaurant opposite, well worth the stay...

Adequate accommodation however like everything in Jasper, extremely overpriced, and the additional state charges that are sprung on you at checkout leve a bad taste in your mouth. I know these charges are not charged by the hotel, but it would be nice to know the actual grand total price upfront, rather than the price plus this and plus that....

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments about your recent stay at the Tonquin Inn. We apologize for not providing you with an enjoyable stay. As a foot note - when making a reservation the front desk can always advise you of the total amount for your stay which would include all the taxes. Hopefully we will...

Our family booked 3 different types of rooms: a single, a double with sitting room on a lower level, and a suite with 2 queen beds and full kitchen. They were all satisfactory and check in was easy. Parking was adequate. The location was convenient to walk into town.
