The room we were initially given was cramped, very dark and depressing, and opened directly onto the sidewalk and parking lot. We paid extra to upgrade to a room in the Whistler building which was nice with a new bathroom. The restaurant was quite good.

We were booked for a stay of 2 nights here but we could not get in to the room allocated as the lock on the door was broken. The receptionist made me run up and down stairs a couple of times trying different keys, checking it with the maintenance guy. Apparently there was no other room available. Eventually she (grudgingly)...

Stopped off at Jasper for 3 nights through our fly drive across Canada. I was a bit worried having read some reviews of the hotel. But I shouldn't have worried, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious and had a fridge and kettle!! Oh and a launderette! The only niggle I have is that...

We booked through Trailfinders and were up graded on arrival to a super king room. The room had two beds which we found fine as there were only two of us. There was plenty of storage for us both and as we were staying 3 nights we completely unpacked. The room was very clean and the bathroom looked newly renovated....

Whilst on a Rocky Mountaineer tour my friends and I stayed at this hotel for two nights and were well satisfied with it. It is more like a motel, our room, one of the recently upgraded ones, a short walk from reception across the car park. Reception was very welcoming, the room spotless and cheerful, the en suite sporting a...

Great lodge, friendly staff, enormous room with all the things you could possibly think of needing and then some. We had a room with a very nice bathroom and clean, modern kitchen. It was a welcome surprise after a long drive. The reception is open 24 hours a day, breakfast is at 6, the indoor pool is open until 10...

We decided on a whim to travel home through Jasper instead of Banff, and found the Marmot Lodge had accommodations. We selected the family suite so we had room for everyone, and was informed that it was available at a 25% discount. However, this small (albeit nicely renovated -- check out the cool retro art in the rooms!) suite would...

An okay place that is fife loong blocks from city center. Maybe seven. City Center is two blocks long and two blocks wide. In those four square blocks are sobe good and some less good restaurants. The lodge has its own ersatz restaurant (see review). The motel is okay, but our room did not get made up until 4:30 PM. They...

When we arrived in Jasper we found Marmot Lodge on the outskirts of the town. The reception staff immediately made us feel welcome. Our room was on the upper floor and was clean, fresh and well equipped. The only thing that let it down was the decor and furniture on the balcony was was shabby. However, the room was immaculate;...
