We stayed here for two nights while on a tour. We found the hotel to be very nice with comfortable beds. The rooms were not large but were comfortable. The hotel is around 10-15 minutes walk from centre of the town. The staff were lovely and always helpful if you asked any questions. There is a restaurant on site which...

The hotel is on the edge of the town of Jasper. it is an old property but clean and it seems trying to keep it up. The standard room is not spacious. The two queen beds seem filled the room. But the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The linens and towels were clean but looked and felt...

The room and beds were great here, and in terms of location, it was just a short walk to downtown Jasper. All plusses! And if we had been on the second floor of this hotel, I expect my rating would be higher. We were on the first floor and the floor above us squeaked every time their inhabitants walked on...

We stayed for 3 nights and were given a room at the front of the hotel facing the road and railway yard to be kept awake by noise most of the night, it also had a wet room shower and after asking they moved us to a much nicer corner room at the back which had more space and comfier...

We were here on a tour - Calgary, Banff, Jasper, Kamloops, Victoria and Vancouver., No problems with checkin. We were on the second floor, no elevators. Huge parking lot, with Embers restaurant next door (see my review on Embers restaurant if interested). It is adequate, though a bit old (uses keys), paper cups. Quite spread out and plenty of rooms,...

Beware the dreaded $200Canadian "Security" hold on your credit card with the promise that it will be released within hours of your departure. No other accommodation business charged us this "Security Hold" during our stay in Canada. Our money did not appear into our account till the 8th day after our checkout. They will blame the Credit Card Company and...

Hello Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It is our policy to take a security deposit upon check in as most hotels in Canada do and yes we do release the hold on departure. At times, I have heard, online banking records do not show the release for 5 days. My apologies this did not work...

The blurb we had from our travel agent suggested the hotel was a nice place in it's own grounds. The facts were it's a downmarket hotel in its own parking lot but charging upmarket prices. Our room was very small, very dark (even with ALL the lights on) dingy decor, not particularly clean (superficially it looked OK, but a quick...

Hello QJH Firstly, please accept my apologies for your less than adequate stay; this is definitely not the norm for our property. Our close proximately to downtown allows us to have green space on property, be just a 10 minute walk to the shops in the downtown core and yes, close to the trains. Jasper was originally built around the...

A comfortable smallish hotel on the northern edge of town but easily in walking distance of the centre. Clean well appointed rooms but really paper cups! On the other hand where else would you follow elk along the road on the way home from dinner?

Older lodge but my room (at the back) has been updated and was a very nice quiet and extremely clean room. No noise heard,No elevator to second floor but very easy stairs also lots of parking with wide lanes. Bit of a walk to downtown about 15 min

Updated older hotel but with very comfortable beds and a fridge in the room. No elevators but is only 2 floors. In the far north part of town so it is walkable if a bit far. Only real issue was the occasional train literally across the street. No whistle noise but the coupling and uncoupling of cars...so not too bad....
