Flush toilets and running water in a forest!! Spacious sites and pay for a fire permit and unlimited wood. Wish there was more trees surrounding each site for more privacy as the sites are very open. Highly recommended for a family camping trip.

The place is beautiful (as all Rocky mountains area). Hookups only for electricity, you have to connect water and dump in a central place. It is quiet far from Jasper, so if you plan to go out, it may take some time. No showers.

There are some beautiful swimming beaches in Jasper National Park. All of them you must drive to from Wabasso. You may want to try Pyramid Lake or Lake Annette.

Is there a free firewood pile or do you have to buy wood?

That is a great question. When you check in, if you have a site with a fire pit, you can purchase a fire permit for $8.80. That covers the price of fire wood.
