Typical National Parks campground with decent washroom facilities. We’re pleased that our 40 foot trailer fit. Peaceful campground , suitable for every age range. What’s not to like about Banff/Jasper!

Nice sites here. Had a great time. Very clean showers and toilets. They are going to refurbish this place soon as the place was built in the sixties. Check before you go that it is open.
NO Electric fences so watch out for the bears....More

This is a good question because I don't recall this being an issue in the mountains. I wear bug spray on a hike, but more to ward off ticks. Mosquitos, black flies and such pests are definitely an issue once you head north... More
This is a good question because I don't recall this being an issue in the mountains. I wear bug spray on a hike, but more to ward off ticks. Mosquitos, black flies and such pests are definitely an issue once you head north into the boreal forests of Alberta and Saskatchewan though. Hope this helps.
