We stayed for two nights in a Cooper cabin during our road trip between Vancouver and Calgary. We nearly didn’t stay due to the cost but having read other reviews that said it was worth it we decided to go for it and balance it by having cheaper nights elsewhere. And we are so gl

Three of us stayed in a fairview suite. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Even the sofa bed was comfortable which is rare! Could have done with a duvet on it rather than just a blanket though as it got pretty chilly at night. All of the staff were incredibly friend

We were staying in lake Louise for a week while visiting our daughter. The location was good- close to the lake. The suite we stayed in had everything we needed and was kept spotlessly clean. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and I would recommend this place to anyon

It snowed during our visit, but the lodge was nice and cosy with a fire. However, the bathroom was so cold. There was a heater, but it needed to run for an hour before the room was pleasant to use. There were no surfaces to put toiletries etc. on either, so had to use the floor.

Hello! Can anyone tell me if there is air conditioning in the saddleback Suites? I know there isn’t in the cabins so just wondering about the Suites? If not, did you ever miss it and feel like it was stuffy in the rooms?
No, as previous comments have confirmed, there is no air-con in the Saddle Back suites. However, we wouldn't have needed it anyway. We were there in June and it was still quite cool at night. Enjoy your stay. We loved it!

Hi Sue, what options are there for dining in the area? Any grocery stores in the area?
Yes, the Outpost (pub at the far end of the Post Hotel) is good. Get there early to avoid the crowd. I haven't tried the deli at the Chateau, but the restaurants I've tried there were mediocre and expensive.

Are you close enough to the lake to walk to it?
I would say it is about a 2 mile walk. And that is along the highway but i saw hikers walking that way.

Is there a deli or restaurant within walking distance, or do you have to drive in to Lake Louise Village?
I cannot think of any deli that close by. Deer Lodge has a wonderful restaurant & bar about a mile up the road
