I stayed here for one night while being in Banff for 4 days. During my stay i noticed the rooms and bathrooms were in excellent condition and clean. The hostel is in a beautiful location with a great view. But as I stated in my title is a 15+ walk into town, probably a $5 taxi.

I've been staying at the hostel for over a month now with a group of over 20 people who have all paid for a months rent. When we moved in we signed a 3 strike contract which went out the window as soon as we paid the full months rent, they started to look for any reason to kick us...

I was a bit confused when I went to write a review about this hostel because the pictures look nothing like the area I stayed in. My area looked more like a normal hotel. I did notice there were other lodging areas. I ended up staying in a 4 bed dorm that had been reserved for just 1 person. The...

I spent 4 nights in the hostel during a holiday to meet Banff. I loved the service, online and personal. Clean rooms and bathrooms, even the collective. Furthermore, the economy is the best part. I will staying at HI again but this time in Vancouver.

I was a little worried before I went from the mixed reviews on here so it was quite a relief when I arrived and found it to be a great hostel. I stayed for 10 nights in a mixed dorm as it was the only bed available, Banff gets booked out in the summer so book ahead. The hostel is...
