We wanted a city break so spend a day in the mountains. Booked into a private cabin for a single night after enjoying the mountain views. The cabin had comfortable queen beds. There was a couch and tv in the room. Wifi was good. The main hostel had a bar in the downstairs. There was a pool table that was...

I have no idea why this hostel doesnt have 5 stars on TripAdvisor. Stayed for two nights in a 2-level loft room! The hostel is a walkable distance to town and there is also a free bus to town. The area surrounding the hostel is spectacular. The hostel is super clean and the staff are very helpful. Australians, especially, will...

The Hi-Banff Alpine Centre is a great budget place to stay. We stayed in one of the four cabins located adjacent to the lodges. Comfortably sized with a small electric fireplace and sitting area that provided a cosy ambiance. Two double size beds that accommodated four people comfortably. A front deck to sit out on during warmer weather. Plus our...

Stayed one night in the private room. Great quiet simple room with ensuite. This location was awesome and the staff were helpful and courteous. The pub downstairs was a riot with all the ski instructors and international travelers. The small restaurant was great with good menu options. Convenient and clean, great young vibe for travelers in their 40's.

I stayed at HI Banff Alpine Centre for 3 nights in shared accommodation. Staff were helpful and friendly. The room is relatively small but it is what it is. Although there is a bar downstairs and I was on the 1st floor, it wasn't noisy in the evening. Location is at the road into Tunnel Mountain. Not central location but...

I have been to banff many times and this time we decided to stay at this hostel. It came highly recommended and my friend had stayed there once before. To start...it was actually quite easy to find and was nestles nicely in the mountains a bit off the beaten path from downtown Banff. It was a quiet area of town...

I stayed here for 2 nights in September 2015 in a private room. It was a dorm room with 4 bunk beds and no bathroom that was sold as a private room. It's an expensive choice, you could probably find something better at a cheaper price in Banff. The room needed a thorough cleanning. The room was located close to...

It's clean. Beds are solid so when people roll around on the night there isn't any noise. There is a bar and restaurant on location. Ample supply of bathrooms and showers. Friendly staff. Location is kind of far away from downtown and the peak season rates last a long time - out of peak season. It worked for my one...

“It's a backpacker hostel. You take your pick. Go for smaller for quieter (e.g. 4 dorm instead of 6 dorm).”
  • Quite spacious shower alcove and area behind the door.
  • Toilet amenities.
  • Six bed (three bunk) male dorm. Lockers under beds and on walls.
